Hale-Bopp & Bab-Chomet

This post was sparked by a piece that Hamasson found in a work called Armanen Runes and The Black Sun in Modern Heathenry by Aelfric Avery. This piece not only confirms what we have written about the Hale-Bopp Comet and the creation of Woden's Folk, but also gives new insights into the creation of the Folkish Wodenist Movement here in England. This led to my looking at a German website which gave further insights; there are so many synchronicities involved in this.

'The god Bab-Chomet placed in the new universe the Black Sun, which no-one can see with earthly eyes; it is the source of God's Power in this world; around them is all. Thus the world-age was determined.'

Aelfric Avery.

This piece is from Sumer during the reign of Sargon I (23rd-22nd Centuries BCE), and is related to Illu Ishtar.

Bab-Chomet is said to be a 'stargate' or 'Gateway to the Gods' which is remarkable when we have equated this with Baphomet and to the Hale-Bopp Comet. The Hale-Bopp Comet appeared in the spring of 1997 when I undertook a form of Shamanic Initiation by the Long Man of Wilmington (Woden-Waendal) and the HelgiH Mysteries were given to me. At the time I equated the Hale-Bopp Comet with 'Baphomet' for no real reason whatever.

The gist of what we have said before, helped by work from Wotan's Krieger, is that the Hale-Bopp Comet appeared at the time of 'Noe's Flood' some 4,000 years ago, and reappeared in its next cycle in the spring of 1997. The comet heralded the sinking of At-al-land, and then the creation of Woden's Folk in the spring of 1998. Now we can go even further with this because into the same equation comes the Black Sun. The solar eclipse of August 11th 1999 we linked to the 'Resurrection of Ingwe' through the Power of the Black Sun, and the conception of the New Age - the Age of Ing. And here in the above we have stated - 'Thus the world-age was determined'.

There was also seen a link between the Third Sargon who is to appear with an 'Empire of the North' and the Bab-Chomet whose 'vibrations' are said to bring this about. Here we have Bab-Chomet behind the Power of the Black Sun, and the Source of God's Power in this world. It was thus the 'vibrations' of the Hale-Bopp Comet that brought into being the new world-age - the Age of Ing(we).

'At the top of the world stands the Midnight Mountain;
Its light is eternal.
The eyes of man cannot see it - and yet it is there.
Over the Midnight Mountain streams the rays of the Black Sun.
The eyes of man cannot see them - and yet they are there.
Inside us burns its light.
Only the brave and righteous still have within them the God-Head.

Aelfric Avery.

Then comes the link between the Black Sun and the Midnight Mountain of the North. To gain further insight I looked up 'Bab-Chomet' and found a German site - www.freiheitistselbst....(apologies to our German Comrades but the word was rather long) on which was the following -

'The White Sun shining over the world Earth - you give light to the day.

The Black Sun shining inside of us - you give the power of knowledge. Reflecting on the realm of Atland, which lay high at the Pillar of Heaven before the sea devoured it.

Reflecting the wise giant, those who came and taught from Thule.'

Atland - We have here the link between the Black Sun and the sinking of At-al-land. As stated, the last cycle of the Hale-Bopp Comet 4,000 years ago seems to have heralded the coming cataclysm that finally sank At-al-land or 'Doggerland' in the North Sea.

Legend has it that the Divine Light was sent from God to the Earth in the form of the Goddess Ishtar (Eastra-Ostara). It is also said that the seer Irini (another 'synchronicity' which I will not go into here) had spiritual contact with Ishtar. Some see Bab-Chomet as a 'doorway' or 'gateway' through which the Divine Light ('Ray of Light') comes. The Black Sun is known as Ilu Ilum - 'Ilu' being 'light' as in our equivalent 'El' giving the word 'Elf'.

On the Stele Naram-Sin dedicated to the King of the Akkadians, grandson of Sargon I, we find two suns, one being the White Sun of Day and the other the Black Sun of the Midnight North.

The two 'suns' are at the top of the stele; the larger and taller figure is Naram-Sin, and it must be noted that he wears a horned helmet very similar to those found on figures in Bronze Age Northern Europe.

Naram-Sin

White Sun - Black Sun

The one puzzle that remains with us, something that I have said before, is that the Baphomet which is usually shown as a horned goat was the work of Eliphas Levi, a French Occultist. His image is clearly nothing like the original Baphomet of the Knight's Templar which was, we are told, a severed head. Comets are often referred to as 'Bearded Stars'. The obvious link is with John the Baptist but there is also the link with Mimir's Head and the 'Well of Memory'. Rather than linked to 'Mahomet' it seems that 'Bab-Chomet' is a more likely origins of this word. There may, of course, be no links whatever but even then there is a synchronicity in the two words that cannot be overlooked. The Knight's Templar are said to have gone to the Americas, taking with them the Holy Grail.

Woden's Folk was formed on April 23rd 1998, one year after the appearance of the Hale-Bopp Comet. The mystical experience I had in the spring of 1997 ended on April Fool's Day (April 1st) when I looked up at the Long Man of Wilmington (Woden as the 'April Fool'). The area around the Long Man seems to be a kind of 'Time-Clock' set to awaken certain forces in our era of the Cycle of the Ages. As I have said before, there is even a comet-shaped long-barrow ('Hunter's Burgh') to the east of the hill-figure, and a White Horse to the west of the figure.

Note: I have laid out the whole of this Sun-Initiation in my latest book from Black Front Press. This has been set down before but this latest piece puts in a great amount of stuff left out before.

The Stone of At-al-land

Added 27th August 2019.

Elum - The Light of this world.

Ilum - The Light of the Otherworld.

The Black Sun is the source of the Divine Light in this world.

Male Ilu-Force

Female Ilu-Force

Joined they become Iluhe.

The Light of the Black Sun is led over the star Venus to the Earth. This fits with the ideas of Don Miguel Serrano. This is also the He/She or El-Ella of Miguel Serrano. It is the union of these two forces we speak of.

ALU   AELLU  ELU   ILU   OLU  OELLU   ULU

Question that needs an answer - Is there any connection between ALU and these ideas here? ALU is said to be a 'Magical Force' and forms part of the above sequence. The Old English name AElla can also form part of this sevenfold sequence.

On one blog I found a reference to the Black Sun being located in the middle of the constellation Crater from where the 'Divine Light' is led over the star Venus to Earth. The name 'crater' means 'cup' or 'chalice'. The Old English Calc-Rune means 'cup' or 'chalice' at one level.

The word Vril could be rendered Ur-Il meaning 'The Primal Light'; there is also a kind of synchronicity here since the ideas around Bab-Chomet related by the Seeress Sahaja which we have touched on before are associated with the god Marduk whose image is that of a bull - Bo-Vril. Before World War II a number of occultists were working around 'channeling' from areas such as Sumeria and Babylonia.

The White Stone & The Seven Sages

In various posts about the White Stone of Ing I have mentioned how the above 'barrow' seen here being pushed by 'Cuthman' seems to be symbolic of the Seven Stars of the Great Bear. This is also inferred when we consider Ingwe to be associated with Bootes who is the 'Driver of the Waen' (Great Bear). The 'Mother' shown here is the Mother of Revolutions who stands over the area of the northern skies where the skies turn around the 'axis' of the Pole Star.

According to Sri Aurobindo the Seven Rishis or Seven Seers are symbolised by the Seven Stars of the Great Bear. In many cultures these seven stars are seen as 'oxen' and we do indeed find mention of oxen in the Tale of Cuthman. In the tale Cuthman is said to have argued with a local woman who took his oxen and refused to give them back to him. We have seen in recent posts how the Angiras Rishis are the offspring of Agni, who we see as being our own Ingwe, or a similar archetype. We thus have a link between the Seven Sages and Ingwe, even though this is not clear as yet.

It is interesting that the Seven Seers are associated with the Great Bear since this goes back to the Polar Mythos. When the later Solar Mythos emerged this was based upon the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac and the 'Seven Stars of the Pleiades'. The 'Seven Stars' image was transferred from the North onto the Zodiac and the Pleiades, even though this constellation seems to have only six visible stars. This suggests to me that we may be on the right track in assuming that the Myth of Scef-Ing goes back as far as the 'Golden Age' and the Polar Mythos, rather than the later 'At-al-land Cycle' of the North-West.

In a previous post I mentioned how the Hale-Bopp Comet was the herald of a coming cataclysm; it would seem then that the finding of the White Stone and thus the arising of the Power of Ingwe are two more signs of the future disasters that are coming. The White Stone came to light in 1938 when it was found in the churchyard in Steyning, West Sussex; this was one year before the outbreak of World War II. The Solar Eclipse of August 11th 1999 symbolised the 'resurrection' of Ingwe as prophesied by Nostradamus. This 'resurrection' was attained through the Power of the Black Sun. The discovery of the meaning of the White Stone of Ing was also important to this same theme.

The discovery of the stone's meaning is part of a prophecy in Revelation which states clearly the means of deciphering it. 'To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the Hidden Man-na.' In regard to the term 'man-na' (usually written manna but here the word is hyphenated, a hint of the true meaning), this is connected to the last two posts since the Moon-God is Mani or Mona. It seems clear that the Hidden Man-na is the intuitive power of the mind opened by the Moon-Powers. We should remember that these Moon-Mysteries are held within the Man-Rune.

The Stan-Rune that represents (within Folkish Wodenism) the White Stone of Ing is made up of two Man-Runes, one above the other and joined as one bind-rune.

Ingwe is, of course, Ingvi-Frey of the Norse Myths and thus the progenitor of the Inglingas (Ynglingas) who not only gave their name to the English Folk but ruled Sweden and Norway at one time or another. Ingvi-Frey is usually invoked for peace and plenty as a fertility god; however he is no 'pacifist' as the myths clearly tell us -

  • Ingui-Frea is the slayer of the giant Beli who is the child of Gymir and Aurboda, and the brother of Gerd who became Frey's wife. Because Frey had pledged his sword to his shield-bearer, Skirnir, for getting Gerd to marry him slew Beli with an antler.
  • Ingui-Frea fights at Ragnarok and is slain by Surt - the 'Fire-Giant'. Fire (Agni-Inga) fights Fire (Surt).
  • In Husdrapa Ingui-Frea is termed - 'The battle-bold Frey'.
  • In Nafnathular Ingui-Frea is said to ride the horse named Blodhughofi which means 'Bloody-Hoof'.

Clearly Ingui-Frea is a God of Peace but is also a God of Battle, and his roles change when needed. This fits with the True Krist who appears as a 'Teacher of Righteousness', a mild preacher, but in his 'Second Coming' he appears as a Warrior-Lord riding a White Horse and leading an Army of Light. Ingui-Frey seems to have been seen as the War-Leader of the Waene-Gods.

The Chariot of Ingwe must be the Waen (Woden's Waen) - the Great Bear or The Plough. Ingwe, as stated before, is associated with the Constellation of Bootes which 'drives' the Chariot of Ingwe. He is also associated with a Golden Boar which represents the Sun's Rays (not the Sun itself which is feminine); the rays of the Sun shine upon the Earth, and the Sacral King is the 'Sun of God' upon the Earth. This is associated with the Waene-Cults.

Ingui-Frea ruled the 'Swedes and the Goths' and Ingria (Ingermanland) was originally named Ingui Land; this is in the Russia-Finland area of the world and people there still honour their roots and Ingui-Frea. Ingui-Frea was called Drot by the Swedes, which is a type of ruler, though the word seems to be like 'Druid'. The English are the ones who have retained his name in their national name and national homeland. This is because the English are made up of the Seven Tribes of Ingwe.

Ingvi-Frey is linked to Uppsala in Sweden where a statue of this Solar-Phallic God once stood beside Thor and Odin. He was recorded as being a man who lived in this area and in death was buried in a large Burial Mound. As we have seen with Woden, there are gods who incarnate upon the Earth with a Divine Mission, and are thus 'human' in form even though they are a god-force. At this time, it seems, Ingui-Frea ruled over an age of peace and plenty, but this will not always be his role because he can return as a Warrior-God riding a White Horse.

The Sacred Mead & The Moon-Ship

There are discrepancies in the story of the figure of Kvasir but, ignoring these for now, he was said to have been created by the AEsir & Vanir-Gods to seal the peace between them after the Great War of the Gods. He was created when the two God-Clans chewed on berries and mixed their spittle together to form this God of Wisdom, the wisest amongst the Gods. The tale goes on to tell how two Dwarves, Fjalar ('Deceiver') and Galar ('Screamer') slew Kvasir and drained his blood into Three Cauldrons. The two then brewed the Sacred Mead by mixing Kvasir's Blood with Honey, this becoming the Mead of Poetry. The Norwegian kvase and the Russian kvas both mean a 'fermented berry juice'. There has been a great deal of controversy over the power of the mead and if it had been laced with some form of hallucinogen. That the origins of this drink came from 'berries' and that later the honey was added seems to suggest that another ingredient made up the 'Mead of Poetry'. But we should always remember that the use of hallucinogens (a-l-u) was a later method which came about when the natural powers of the mind were lost due to the movement of time - the Cycle of the Ages.

The Myth of Kvasir seems to be yet another version of the 'Giants' who steal the Sacred Mead and hide it away from the Gods and the Arya. But here these beings are seen as 'Dwarves' rather than the Joten. From the works of Viktor Rydberg we find that the Mead of Inspiration is hidden in Jotenheim and there hoarded by the Joten for themselves, this being a typical Aryan Myth where the Dark Powers hoard the 'treasure' for themselves even though they cannot use it themselves - just like Fafnir and the Dragon's Hoard. In the latter the Aryan Hero (Sigurd) has to slay the Dragon and retrieve the Gold-Hoard.

In Norse Mythology the Mead of Poetry is thus said to be hidden in Jotenheim, hoarded by the Joten for themselves. It seems that a Joten named Vidfinnr a son named Hyuki and that as a child Hyuki and a maid called Bil came to the Fountain of Byrgir carrying a pail called Saegr on a pole named Simul (or in a variant Sumul, from suml meaning 'brewing', 'ale' or 'mead) and the two filled the pail with the Mead and carried it off during the hours of darkness. The children take off with the Mead but are then taken by Mani, the Moon-God, and they remain with him with the Sacred Mead. It seems that Mani adopted the children as his own. The daughter of Mani is Nanna - the Moon-Dis - and we find that Mani's Ship bears the Sacred Mead.

Most of us, except perhaps the young of today who are not taught the old 'Children's Tales' will know this ancient Norse Myth in the form of 'Jack and Jill' -

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water;
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.'

This 'Jack' is Hyuki and 'Jill' is Bil; Hyuki can be found in our own English Lore in Beowulf as Hoce. In this tale Mani robs Vidfinnr (Hyuki's father) of the Sacred Mead. We have to remember that the Moon in Teutonic Lore is male (Mani) whilst the Sun is female (Sunna); but we also have the Moon-Dis (Nanna) and the Sun-God (Baeldaeg). Mani is the 'Man-in-the-Moon' who carries a lantern and 'Bundles of Thorns' on his back. He is Lord of the Heiptir who are a kind of Erinnyes and he keeps the Limar which are the 'Bundles of Thorns' which these are armed with, so he is also named Eylimi. Another name for Mani is Nokve or Nokkvi whose name means 'ship's captain'. In the Rig Veda we find the following -

'By shedding a constant and profuse stream of nectar resembling the silvery beam of the Moon'.

Honey is a golden liquid, but here we see also a link to the Moon in both the Rig Veda and the Eddas. It is said that Woden drinks from the Moon-Ship which is called Sokkvabekkr - "The Setting or Sinking Ship'. It is Bil who distributes the Sacred Mead of Inspiration, and Rydberg equates Bil with the Goddess Idunn. He also sees the alternative name of Bifrost, Bilfrost, as being 'Bil's Way' (thus Idunn's Way) and being the Milky Way; he also sees Hyuki (Gyuki) as being Iring, and thus the Milky Way is also called 'Iring's Way'. Both in the Norse Myths and the Vedas the Mead of Inspiration was hidden in the Moon-Ship. In Odin's Raven Galdr we find Idunn and Nanna to be different names for the same Dis-Goddess. The name 'Nanna' means 'The Brave One' and this is a common term for 'grandmother' in England.

We have also the account of the Sacred Mead which is guarded by another 'Giant' (Suttung) in the 'Clashing Mountain'. I have gone into this so many times it is not necessary to do so again, but here Woden retrieves the Mead of Inspiration in the Three Cauldrons once more. He does so by using a Tantric Rite with Gunnlod as his 'wife', sleeping with her for three nights.

We have to recall that this 'Golden Nectar', 'Amrita', 'Ambrosia' or 'Nectar of the Gods' refers at a higher level to the honey-taste associated with the chemicals which drain down the throat as a higher state of consciousness is reached. To reach this higher state of consciousness (SWAR in the Vedas, SCANDI in English Lore) it is necessary to hone the power of intuition, long associated with the Moon

The figure of a man bearing a water-pitcher and pouring the contents upon the Earth is found in the symbol of Aquarius, the age which we are now passing into. In Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot for The Star we find a woman pouring out some form of 'water' or 'energy' onto the Earth, suggesting a link to Bil the Dis 'pouring' the Sacred Mead (Intuition - Poetic Wisdom) onto the Earth in the Age of Aquarius. Is this why there is today a larger number of people beginning to become more spiritually aware, even with a far larger number falling further and further into gross materialism?

When I was considering the 'pail of water' associated with this myth, and thus with the Mead of Inspiration the thought suddenly came into mind of a piece that I was reading yesterday concerning the Seven Sages who are so often depicted as carrying a 'handbag', but which looks in many cases to be more like a 'pail' for carrying water.

This symbolism is found in the Near East and also lately in the excavations at Gobleki Tepi (Armenian but now in Turkey). It is thus found in all places where the Seven Sages appear after a Great Flood; they bring with them the Hidden Knowledge needed to rebuild the broken civilisations of the world. It was the Seven Rishis or Angiras Rishis who set down the Vedas; they were 'seers' and thus they did so through divine inspiration by reaching the highest realm of consciousness. Do these 'pails' which they all carry represent the Mead of Inspiration that they partake of in order to receive such knowledge, and to pass that knowledge to others in order to recreate a fallen world? They seem to be clearly linked to water and water has always been linked to the Moon.

Considering the link between Bil and Idunn made by Rydberg, he states that in Haustlaung Idunn is called Byrgis ar-Gefn meaning 'Byrger's harvest-giving (dis)'. Clearly here Idunn is the 'Gift-Goddess' who gives out the Mead of Inspiration, as well as holding the Golden Apples of Regeneration.

Originally the Sacred Mead belonged to Mimir alone; it is held in the Well of Mimir and the middle-root of the World Tree is watered by it. But the Sacred Mead found in Jotenheim at the Fountain of Byrgis seems to have been the 'Pure Mead' (according to Rydberg) and this is said to have been kept secret by Ivalde, the father of Idunn. When the Moon-God takes this from Hyuki and Bil the father, Ivalde-Vidfinnr, is angered and then slays and burns the Moon-God (Mani-Gevar), recaptures the mead and takes it to Suttung where it is held amongst the Fire-Giants. From there Woden steals the mead once more and takes it back to Asgard. This seems to be a logical tale recovered by Rydberg for us. It seems that just as Mani took the two children of Ivalde, Ivalde took the daughter of Mani, the Moon-Dis, and she bore him Idunn who is a disir of regeneration and growth.

In considering Rydberg's Teutonic Mythology it is wise to bear in mind that when he sees mythological figures as being the same but with different names we should also consider that these figures may have been similar archetypes which appear at different times but which are based upon an Ur-Type, hence why I see 'Hengest' ('Ghost of Ing') as being a similar archetype as Ingwe, or a later incarnation of Ingwe. Whereas Rydberg sees everything in terms of ancient myth, I prefer to look at this in terms of archetypal myth where similarities are due to these being later 'versions' of the Ur-Myths that form historical events.

This was to be the end of this post until I remembered that I had done a piece some years ago (1993 to be exact) about this subject. After finding the article concerned this later section takes pieces from it which are relevant to the ideas above.

An old Yorkshire Rhyme -

Moon penny bright as silver
Come and play with little children.

This actually sounds like some form of invocation.

An old rhyme associated with the Sun and the Moon -

The Lion and the Unicorn
Were fighting for the crown;
The Lion beat the Unicorn
All around the town.

Here the 'Lion' is the Sun and the 'Unicorn ' the Moon; of course, the Lion does not actually defeat the Unicorn since it rules by day and the Unicorn rules by night, as this old Tibetan texts states -

Lion (Sun) wins at dawn and reigns all day,
Unicorn (Moon) wins at dusk and rules all night.

The Unicorn is a White Horse with one twisted horn in its forehead, seemingly obviously representing the 'Mind's Eye' or 'Third Eye'. There is an interesting piece written in this old article, one that I had completely forgotten about -

'The horn of the Unicorn is the 'Allcorn' (made from 'Alicorn' (*)) which may well be the Alu-Horn which is the Draught of Inspiration from the Moon. ALU is a potent magical runic formula which is the intoxicating drink...'

There is yet another rhyme, originating in Germany, here associated with the idea of the 'Man in the Moon' -

The Man in the Moon was caught in a trap,
For stealing thorns from another man's gap;
If he had gone by, and let the thorns lie,
He'd never have been the Man in the Moon so high.

In Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream there is a reference to the 'Man in the Moon' carrying thorns and a lantern. A curious seal in the Public Records Office in Chancery Lane, London, shows a man bearing sticks with a dog at his side, and they are on the Moon. An inscription reads -

'I will teach thee, Walter, why I carry thorns in the Moon.'

Another rhyme gives the same information -

See the rustic in the Moon,
How his bundle weighs him down;
Thus his sticks the truth reveal,
It never profits man to steal.

And again -

The man o' the moon, here's to him;
How few there be that know him!
But we'll drink to him still
In a merry cup of ale.
The man o' the moon, here's to him!

There is yet another verse from Yorkshire which is even more interesting and enlightening -

The Moon shines bright
The stars give light,
And little Nanny Button-Cup
Will come tomorrow night.

Here we have a dim remembrance of Nanna, the wife of the Sun-God, Baeldaeg; and she is clearly a Moon-Goddess or Moon-Dis. There is another old nursery rhyme which was mentioned by the editor at the time I wrote this article -

There was an old woman
Tossed up in a basket,
Seventeen times as high as the Moon.

Where she was going
I could not but ask it,
For in her hand she carried a broom.

'Old Woman, old woman, old woman!'
Said I,
'Where are you going, there so high?'

'To sweep the cobwebs
Out of the sky.'

'May I come with you?'

'Yes, bye and bye.'

The suggestion by the editor was that this referred to Ostara (Eostra) in her aspect of the Goddess of Spring and Rebirth.

THE SEVEN SAGES -

The figure shown here is that of one of the "Apkallu' or 'Seven Sages' from the Mesopotamia area of the Fertile Crescent. This bearded figure is shown holding a 'pail', he has 'wings' and he stands in a stance very similar to the Ac-Rune or 'Rune of the Oak'. These seven bearded white men (which they invariably are) seem to appear after a Great Flood, bringing civilisation to the areas of the world where more 'primitive' people live. These figures are very much like Quetzalcoatl, Kukulkan, Wotan and other bearded white men who appeared in Central and South America after a Great Flood.

These men have 'magical' powers and can produce 'miracles', i.e. that had advanced spiritual and mental powers that could perform things that the normal people could not. Sometimes they were welcomed and sometimes they were attacked by the indigenous peoples. They seem to be linked to the 'Giants' mentioned in the Old Testament who were seen as 'men of renown' and who could also do super-human things. These are also the 'Watchers' mentioned in the Book of Enoch, but here we should be beware since this book has upturned completely the memory of these 'Giant's' and demonised them. They were said to have brought astrology, metal-smithing, herbal arts, healing arts, weapon-making, and other arts of a high civilisation. The Book of Enoch runs counter to the other references to these and blames them for the Great Flood, even though it seems there is rather confusion as to whether they were split into two groups, one good and one bad. Nevertheless, the Book of Enoch sees these in a bad light overall which runs counter to every other account we have from ancient times.

Some decades ago, as these things started to come to light, a clear attempt was made to hide the truth from mankind. Zechariah Sitchin and Erik von Daniken started to push the idea that these ancient civilisations were created by the hands of 'extra-terrestrials', and not civilisations created by a higher mankind. A dearth of other works followed from this and what was clearly obvious turned into 'science fiction' and once more the truth was distorted and hidden from the eyes of man. Luckily more level-headed 'speculative writers' followed and studied this in the light of ancient earthly civilisations.

We can see from the Seven Rishis or Seven Angirases who set down the Vedas as 'seers' of the Primal Truth; they have access to these 'higher worlds' in order to set down the Ur-Laws. Since we find, according to Sri Aurobindo, that they clearly saw the Eternal Struggle between the Aryan Gods - Arya and the Dasyus - Asuras as being central to their world-view, it seems likely that these things were recorded through word of mouth and then written down after the Great Catastrophe. Things would certainly have been changing rapidly, the Kali Yuga or Dark Age setting in at the time it would seem. It was necessary to ensure that the Ancient Wisdom was not lost, but it was also necessary that mankind be aware of the Cosmic Struggle that was at that time hastening rapidly.

(*) The Horn of the mythical Unicorn is said to be made from 'alicorn' which has magical and medicinal properties. 'Corn' is rendered into the Teutonic Tongue by 'horn', thus 'Ali-Horn', here linked to 'Alu-Horn' and to the ALU-ULA Formula.

Note - 'Mani' is the Norse 'Moon-God' who would be called Mona by the English since the name is Old English for the 'moon'. As an aside here this is interesting since the Roman name for Anglesey ('Angles Island') was Mona which it seems the Welsh turned into their name for the island today - Mon. As far as I know the word lune and thence lunar stem from the Latin into French and would seem the more obvious to use by the Romans, rather than a name clearly linked to Old English. The name 'Mon' is far too obviously linked to the old name 'Mona' to be a coincidence. It is clearly linked to the Germanic name 'moon', and may well be sounded thus. From this it is possible that the 'Roman' name was in fact Old English in its origins, especially when we consider that the Tegeingl dwelt in Anglesey-Mona. This is thus the Island of the Moon, named after the English Moon-God.

Wodenic Ritual

In Folkish Wodenism we use the Wheel of the Year Rites which form an eightfold system where eight rituals are held, each at a certain time of the year -

Vali's Day - February 14th. This is, of course, 'St. Valentine's Day'.

Summer Evennight/Summer Finding - March 21st.

England's Day - April 23rd.

Midsummer - June 21st.

Black Sun Rite - August 17th.

Winter Evennight - September 21st.

Ancestral Rite - November 11th.

Midwinter - December 21st. This is also known as The Mothers' Night.

These rites are set down as a form of 'wheel' that turns each year from one to the next. They are written down on paper and read out aloud by an individual or a group-working. We have developed other rites too over the years, and also developed night-time use of gealdor and chanting since it is hard to read a piece of paper or Book of Rites at night. There is something else that I started to develop last year at our localised Midwinter Rite, and that was the use of 'Bread and Mead' as a form of 'offering' to the Gods.

The idea of 'Bread & Wine' being used as an offering predates Christianity since it seems to have come through the worship of Mithras, and also used in Zoroastrianism. There is a similar theme that can be found in the much earlier Vedas where we find an offering of ghrta which is usually translated as 'clarified butter'. Of course, some form of symbolism has to underly these ideas since an outer working has to be symbolic of an inner working. The key lies in the symbolism and not the physical object.

I have shown in the last post, and an earlier post, how the use of the term 'cows' in the Vedas is a symbolic term for the Light which has been stolen and held from mankind. The word go can mean 'cow' or 'light', just as I have shown that the rune Feoh can mean both 'cattle' and 'light/flame'. And the word ghrta can also refer to a 'rich or warm brightness'. These terms refer to the Divine Light of the Solar World (Swar/Scandi).

The 'clarified butter' is clearly the product of the 'cows' since butter comes from milk and milk from cows; it is thus the 'light' produced from the 'light'. So where would the 'bread' come in when looking at the symbolism? I have shown in the ideas on Scef-Ing that the Golden Corn represents the 'Light of the Sun', and bread is made from ground corn. We have thus, again, the very same symbolism of the 'light' from the 'light'.

We have always used an offering of Mead and the passing of the Mead around the Folk-Circle. Now I will go on to look at this type of offering too. In the Vedas there is mention of the Soma which has been the subject of long debate as to which plant this is 'pressed' from, sometimes that of the Red-Capped Mushroom and sometimes another plant. Such debate as to the physical 'Soma' clouds the inner meaning of this. This Soma is sometimes called the 'Soma-Wine' or 'Honeyed Soma-Wine' which seems to be a translation of the Soma-Madhu. We can see here that what is referred to is Mead - the 'honey' drink. So when the Gods have to find the Soma this is the same as Woden gaining the Mead of Inspiration, collected in the Three Cauldrons. It was at a later time that wine replaced the Sacred Mead.

But again this is the physical form that symbolises an inner form, and this clearly links to the idea of the 'Golden Nectar' which is released when the Fire-Serpent rises to the Head Centre. This is mentioned in Chinese Tantric Texts, as well as a short reference in the Eddas. It seems also to feature in Yogic practice as something that can be tasted in the throat. Once again, this is a chemical reaction in the body which occurs through the mental processes concerned in spiritual exercises.

With the ideas on this ghrta and soma in mind we can now look at how a type of ritual can be developed from them. We have to add two more elements in order to create the whole -

  • Kindling of the Need-Fire; here the Need-Fire or Friction-Fire is used to create the 'spark' (Divine Spark) that births Ingwe (Agni) or 'creates' Agni if you like. This Divine Fire also represents the Higher Consciousness and the 'Hidden Light' or 'Hidden Sun' held captive within the subconscious mind. These mysteries are held in the Nyd-Rune.
  • The offering of Bread & Mead; here they are 'offered' in physical form but represent a much deeper spiritual meaning. This would also have been true when animals were slain and eaten as a 'sacrifice'; they would represent something deeper than the physical. The 'sacrifice', as I have stated, is the self-sacrifice of the individual who is dedicated to a higher cause and a spiritual struggle. These mysteries are held in the Gyfu-Rune.
  • The chanting of the Sacred Word - The Gealdor. The connection with the Os-Rune ('mouth') is rather obvious.
By the use of the 'hymn' (gealdor) and the offering the gods are increased; they are said to be born, created or manifested in Man. But this is a two-way process whence the gods are also increased by these actions of Man. This is similar to the ideas of Carl Jung on the 'dried riverbed' which are filled again through man honouring the gods again as he once did.

We can gleam a little more of these ideas through the root-meaning of the name 'God'; the original root-word was likely *gudan which is the subject of debate as to stemming from -

*gheu - 'to invoke', or

*gheu - 'to pour' (i.e. an 'offering' that is 'poured').

There is also another IE Root *gheu meaning 'to yawn' or 'to gape' suggesting, of course Ginnungagap.

Rather than arguing which of these is right perhaps we are best suited in seeing them as all being right since the root-sounds were no doubt similar. The meanings back up what has been said since they refer to sound ('to invoke') and offering ('to pour'). The idea of a 'Yawning Gap' also suggests to me 'The Vast' or 'The Infinite' which is the Solar World of Swar/Scandi - the World of Immortality. Whilst we are looking at this it would be wise to look again at the idea of the 'offering' known as ghrta or ghrtam in the Vedas. The word itself contains the term rta/rtam which is the Rita meaning the 'Truth', the 'Right', the 'True in Movement' as opposed to the Satya/Satyam which is the 'True in Being'.

'The secret well of honey (Mead-Madhu) is drunk by all those who are able to see Swar...'

Sri Aurobindo.

There are three stages, according to Aurobindo, which are part of this process -

1. Make visible Swar.

2. Drink of the Well of Mead.

3. The outpouring of the Divine Waters (Seven Rivers).

It is important to note that Scef-Ing is linked to these spiritual concepts since he is a similar archetype to Agni in so many ways. Agni is said to have been 'born in The Waters' which refers to this higher world, Swar/Scandi, but he is also 'concealed in the Utter Light' (Super-conscious) and also 'in the Utter Darkness' (Subconscious). Strangely enough Agni is said to be the prototype of the Puranic Skandi and the 'child of the force of Rudra'. Rudra-Shiva is alike to Woden as the One-Eyed Hunter-God. Woden-Rudra leads the upward evolution of the conscious being and is the most 'terrible of the gods'.

The Greek word 'angel' means 'messenger' and Ingwe is the 'Messengers of the Gods'; the Flame of Ingwe is the power of The Will, and his is a pole of Light sent upwards from Earth to the Heavens. Thunor (Indra) is the pole of Light which descends from the Heavens to the Earth. Ingwe is thus invoked by the Fire-Ritual because he is the 'messenger' who will mediate between Man and the Gods.

It is important to do the rites from the Wheel of the Year in order to re-connect to the yearly cycle through the eight points of the year. Some sections of Odinism have twelve rites which merely adds four more so that one is done per month. There are other important dates such as Walpurgis Night-May Day which is on April 30th - May 1st. There is also the 'Blessing of the Plough' or 'Charming of the Plough' which is held in January; January 31st is also a time to honour the Disir. We have not developed the 'Charming of the Plough' simply because this is a specific rite which would be used in farming and the land. Of course, it could be changed to suit any form of growing, or even the use of the Old English Acerblot could be developed. But not everyone is involved in farming or growing of crops so this is a specific rite useful to these people alone.

The idea of using a simple form of ritual that involves the kindling of a 'Sacred Fire', the offering of 'Bread and Mead' and the chanting of the 'Gealdor' would not replace our Sacred Rites but would add something simple for even the individual to do. The idea would be to 'awaken' or 'increase' the gods within us, to manifest them here within the physical forms. Of course, the best means to do so would be to make one's own mead, or buy a good one not a cheap supermarket brand, and to make one's own bread, not a 'sliced loaf' from the supermarket. This would seem obvious. The role of developing such rites is down to Woden's Folk and the esoteric side of the WF-R because they are 'Inner Rites' not suited to everyone.

I mentioned certain runes that seem to link to this rite, and will enlarge on this theme through a future post on the Ar-Kan Rune-Lag blog which is more suited to the runic work. What I have said in this post and the previous post on Scef-Ing contains a good deal of ideas linked to the runes.

The Legend of Scef-Ing

I have gone into the Legend of Scef before but will need to go over what I have said again in the light of new research. The basic ideas that I put forward was that this goes back to the very dawn of time when the Golden Age finished, and when a young Divine-Child - Scef, also called Ingwe - was sent by the gods to the English Folk to be their king and to aid them in their struggle as the Golden Age ended and a colder and darker period set in on the Earth.

  • Scef-Ing comes in a small, oarless boat, or a boat pulled by Swans, to the Island of Scand(z)i.
  • His head rests upon a Sheaf of Corn; he thus brings farming to the Folk-Community, needed because the Golden Age of Peace and Plenty has ended, and mankind must now grow crops to survive.
  • He brings a Lighted Taper - Fire - which is needed in order that the Folk-Community may get warmth in the growing cold, and cook for food which has to be hunted.
  • On the boat are weapons which can be used to hunt and kill for food, and maybe also in the growing wars that would occur due to the Folk-Wanderings which come after the Great Cataclysm.
  • On the mast of his boat is the Sun-Disc, a Golden Disc which represents his divine nature and Solar-Nature.
All of these ideas make a great deal of sense because they fit with the idea of a change fo world-age due to the Cycle of the Ages, and the growing need for food to be grown and caught, fire to get warm in the growing cold, and to heat the food caught. Weapons are needed to hunt and kill for food, and also maybe for the growing struggles with the movement of peoples after a Great Cataclysm expected with the change in world-age.

However, after reading the work The Secret of the Vedas by Sri Aurobindo it dawned on me that there could be an underlying symbolic meaning to this English Myth. Sri Aurobindo, as I have actually shown in an old post, gives a totally different interpretation to the Vedas which I find to fit with our own world-view, and which has been overlooked by most scholars. He also seems to agree with Tilak in that this is the Knowledge of the North which was taken into India and other areas of the East. Now let me look at this from a very different angle, from a spiritual perspective -

  • The basic theme of Aurobindo's interpretation of the Vedas is that they are the means to a higher state of consciousness, and that this is a 'Higher Light' which has been 'stolen' by the Dasyus and hidden in their Cave of Darkness. Although they have this 'Higher Light' they cannot use it because they are the 'devourers', 'the 'wargs', 'the dividers', 'the obstructors' and 'the confiners' and they are the powers that hoard this to keep it away from mankind, specifically the Arya ('Twice-Born'). This 'Higher Light' is symbolised by the 'Cows' (Cattle) and 'Gold' ('Gold Hoard'). The stealing of the 'Cattle' or the 'Gold' is a very Primal Aryan Myth and can be found in various different myths in different areas, and in the tale of Jack and the Beanstalk, as I have shown in the earlier post. The Legend of Sigurd-Siegfried is one example of the hidden symbolism of the Gold Hoard which is the 'Divine Light of Higher Consciousness'.
  • Aurobindo sees this 'higher realm' as Swar which stems from the Aryan Root *swar/swal meaning 'to shine'. 'to glow', 'to burn' or 'to speak', all of which, as we shall see, are relevant to this idea of gaining access to the highest state of consciousness. It is thus significant that the name Scand(z)i comes from the Aryan Root *scand- meaning 'to shine', 'to glow'. They both have the same basic meaning. Thus, could not the term Scandi refer to this higher realm of consciousness too? Let us go further into this.
  • The boat or ship in which Scef-Ing goes to the Island of Scandi is in some accounts drawn by Swans. In the Vedas we find the Aswins (Divine Twins or Horse Twins) move about in a chariot drawn by horses, but when they ascend (i.e. to the higher realms of consciousness) their chariot is drawn by Swans. This seems to be no coincidence, because it means exactly the same in both accounts. There are, in English Lore, links between Ingwe and the Divine Twins, since Hengest (an incarnation of Ingwe) and Horsa are our Divine Twins.
  • The Sheaf of Corn could be symbolic of the 'Golden Rays of the Sun' and thus to the Solar World of Scandi/Swar. Gold, as stated, is the symbol of the Sun. The Golden Corn is also related to the Corn-Goddess, Sif, which is her 'Golden Hair'. Here, once again, the myth in which Loki cuts off the Golden Hair of Sif could be taken in a physical sense that today we have left only a form of artificial corn, or it could be taken in the spiritual sense in that Loki 'cut off' the Golden Light from mankind, and (in this version) replaced it by an 'artificial light'.
  • If Scef is indeed Ingwe then his totem-symbol is the Golden Boar whose Golden Bristles are symbolic of the Sun's Rays, the Rays of Light that pervade Scandi/Swar. The main 'characters' in the Rig Vedas in regard to the finding and taking back (by force) the Divine Light are the Angirasas, the Sons of Agni. I have shown how Agni is Ingwe in previous posts.
  • The 'Lighted Taper' is here symbolic of the Sacred Flame (Agni-Inga) kindled by the Need-Fire; this is the Fire of Sacrifice which has to be kindled, and which is symbolic of Agni (Ingwe). Although animals (cattle especially) were 'sacrificed', i.e. slain (humanely by stunning and then cutting the throat, contrast this with some forms of killing cattle today which are nothing but cruel and evil) and then eaten as a physical 'offering' to the Gods. The True Sacrifice is not even the slaying and eating but is the sacrifice that the individual makes in order to gain access to the Higher World of Being. Kindling the Sacred Flame is symbolic of birthing Agni-Ingwe in the 'Cave of the Mother'. Agni is the 'Great Sacrificer' who performs The Sacrifice.
  • The Sun-Disc on the mast is symbolic of the 'Golden Sun'; the Light of the Sun is the Light of Truth contained in 'The Vast', 'Swar', 'Scandi' which is the highest Realm of Truth and Light. The 'Light of the Sun' is the Aryan Light, it is the Light of the Aryan Gods and the 'Light of the Arya'. The Truth is called Rita whose mysteries are found in the Rit-Rune (Rad-Rune).
  • The Dasyus/Dasas/Pani etc. are the Powers of Darkness and Ignorance that oppose the Aryan Gods and Aryan Seers (Angarasa Rishis). These Aryan Seers are the original semi-divine beings who first found the 'Aryan Secrets' and passed them down through the generations that they may not be lost, even though they would become misunderstood. The Aryan Gods and Aryan Seers (now the Divine Heroes or Weras) have as their quest to find the Divine Light (within), to take back that Divine Light (by force of arms usually, or by trickery as when Woden gains the Sacred Mead), and to bring the Divine Light to mankind as a whole. Thus the 'weapons' in the boat, and thus our Spiritual Struggle using the same 'weapons', which struggle leads to the Truth and Immortality - to Valhalla! The Dasyus, Dasas, Pani are the Joten and Thursar of Norse Mythology, as well as figures like Loki who is the 'Enemy Within' or the 'Joten Within'.

Just as in the Norse Myths the Gods are born of the Cosmic Mother or 'Cosmic Cow' - Audhumla - they are born of Aditi who is the Cosmic Mother or Cosmic Cow. She is Infinite Consciousness and is the Infinite Mother. All of the Gods are thus born. The Dasyus or Danavas are born of Danu, born from the Darkness of Night - the Cave of Darkness.

The Quest for the Hidden Light.

'But this journey, if principally of the nature of a quest, the quest of the Hidden Light, becomes also by the opposition of the Powers of Darkness an expedition and a battle. The Angirases are heroes and fighters of that battle...'

Sri Aurobindo - Secret of the Vedas.

The 'Angirases' are today what we would call the Weras (Viras) who are the Divine Heroes who struggle to find the Hidden Light, who wage a 'Holy War' against the Powers of Darkness and Ignorance (a Spiritual War). The life of the Wera is one of -

  • A sacrifice or self-sacrifice.
  • A quest or journey.
  • A battle.

In fact, we can see here how these ideas link to those of the much later Graal Mythos which contains exactly the same ideas. This is a Spiritual Battle, a Spiritual War, a Spiritual Quest/Journey. This is certainly not for everyone since it does entail a great struggle with all the dangers involved. In a world based upon gross materialism and the consumer economic society where everything is based upon greed and envy there is not room for a spiritual struggle. And here the Vedas and the Eddas (and other Sacred Texts) are clear in that this is a 'struggle' and a 'battle' because to gain the Spiritual Light the Forces of Darkness and Ignorance have to be defeated because they block access to this 'Higher Light' as can be seen in todays oppressive world where these powers are the dominant powers. Every form of 'education' is designed to push into the background our Intuitive Powers which are the key to accessing the Higher Worlds of Light and Truth. The rise of the economic consumer society and mass-consumerism is designed to block out the Higher Light or Spiritual Light.

Aurobindo tells us that there are four eternal worlds hidden within the super-conscious, and that these have to be brought into being, created. These select worlds have been closed to us by the 'movement of Time' (Cycle of the Ages) so they have to be rediscovered, revealed, conquered, created by us in the 'movement of Time' and 'yet in the sense against it' (Aurobindo) - against the Flow of Time, hence why we are 'Men Against Time'.

This Hidden Light is found in the subconscious mind; it is the Hidden Sun or even the Black Sun. Its rays are 'blackened' because it is hidden within the dark realms of the subconscious mind.

The Black Sun - The Hidden Sun

In the Vedas we find the figure of the 'Hound of Heaven' named Sarama; whenever people encounter the realm of Hela or the Subconscious Realms they encounter the figure of a hound or dog. Sarama is , according to Aurobindo, a super-conscious power which 'leads us to the Hidden Light in the subconscious' - she is the Intuition. Now, the secret that lies within these ideas is surely that of the Wolf, the wild ancestor of the dog; the Wolf has always been associated with the Moon and with the Intuition. In Egyptian Lore Anubis is the Jackal-God, the same as the Wolf-God who was the original form of this god-head. He is associated with the 'Underworld' - the subconscious mind. This is why, in so many ancient mythologies, this 'God of the Underworld' or 'God of the Dead' rises to become the 'High God' simply because the Hidden Light or Hidden Sun is concealed within the Subconscious Mind. Thus the Wolf-God is the 'High God' who is the power to gain access to this Hidden Light which is the 'Eye of Woden' contained within the 'Well of Memory' in the Subconscious Mind. It is thus the Wolf who is the guide that leads us to the Hidden Light, the Hidden God, the Black Sun which is in the Subconscious Mind and which has to be brought out into the Light of Day.

In certain Celtic Myths this Hidden Light is termed 'Mabon' who is the equivalent of Ingwe-Agni - the 'Son of the Sun'. He is in fact 'imprisoned' and has to be freed and brought into the light of consciousness through this same 'quest'. We have the same idea held within the 'imprisonment' of Baldaeg in the Underworld, imprisoned by the 'Witch of the Eclipse' (Loki); the symbol of Baldaeg in the Underworld (Subconscious Mind) is the Fylfot-Swastika. (*) The aim of the 'quest' is to free this 'God of Light' who has been taken from us by the whiles of Loki the Joten.

(*) Is it thus any wonder that the Powers of Darkness and Ignorance are trying so hard to suppress the Fylfot-Swastika which is a symbol of the 'Light in the Darkness' which will free the world from slavery and thraldom.

The Aryan Gods and the Aryan Seers (The Seven Rishis) represent the Straight Path of Truth and Light, whereas the Dasyus-Dasa-Panis-Joten represent the Crooked Path of Falsehood and Lies, lead by the 'Father of Lies'. The Aryan Law is the Law of Light and Truth. Straight is the Truth and crooked is the Falsehood and lies - hence why our Sacred Runes are always drawn in straight lines and the access to the Higher World of Truth is through the Straight Road and not the 'Crooked Road' of the crooks, liars and cheats that hold sway in our world today.

In the Gnostic Mysteries the Divine Light is hidden away from mankind; it is Sophia (Goddess of Knowledge) who sends the Krist to reveal this Divine Light to mankind and to allow mankind access to this Divine Light. It is the 'God' of the Old Testament that denies mankind access to the Tree of Life and thus access to the Divine Truth and Immortality, whereas the Krist (of the New Testament) tells us the 'to him that overcometh' will he give access to the 'Tree of Life', i.e. to 'become as gods', to become immortals, to gain access to the higher realms of Truth and Immortality.

This 'hidden light' is symbolised by the Torchlight Rituals where we portray this image of the Light in the Darkness, this Hidden Light which we are 'stealing back' from the Powers of Darkness and Ignorance. Just as we have been 'taking back' our Sacred Sites and our Sacred Land through such Rituals of Light and the concept of our English Resistance (to resist the Forces of Darkness and Ignorance) we have been enlightening the Sacred Land of England and the Sacred English Folk. By kindling the Flame of Ingwe we have been awakening the White Dragon of the Inga-Folk and thus awakening the Sacred Land which is being destroyed by the Forces of Darkness and Matter.

The Light of the Sun is the Aryan Light which is the 'Light of Truth', the 'True Light', and the 'Golden Light of the Sun'. Rita is 'The Truth' and the land named Swar or Scandi is the 'Shining Island' which is the Light of Truth and the Solar Light ruled by Surya. Yet Surya is also the Black Sun, the 'Hidden Sun' within the Subconscious Mind of Man. This is the 'Eye of Woden' (Eye of God) contained within the 'Well of Memory'. The 'eight Surya' (Martandas), born of Aditi (The Cosmic Mother) is the 'black' or 'dark', the lost or Hidden Sun. The Powers of Darkness have concealed in their Cave of Darkness, and the Aryan Gods and Aryan Seers must release him. Surya is Baeldaeg, imprisoned within the Underworld until we free him once more and bring the Light of the Sun back into this world of Darkness, Ignorance and Chaos. It is the Wolf - the 'Hound of Heaven' who is the Super-conscious power that leads us to the Hidden Light which has been 'imprisoned' in the Underworld (Subconscious Mind). The Wolf is the Intuition (The Moon) which can lead us to 'The Light'.

The 'key' to this access to the 'Hidden Light' lies in the following -

  • The kindling of the Need-Fire (Nyd-Rune) which is the "Fire of Sacrifice' and the Creation of Agni (Ingwe).
  • The offering of the 'Bread' and the 'Soma' (Sacred Mead - Madhu). That which became 'Bread and Wine' through the Judaeo-Christian Church.
  • The Chanting of the 'Sacred Word' (Os-Rune) or 'Mantra of Power'. The 'Sacred Word' was known by the Ancestors or the Seven Sages. This is the 'Lost Word' of the Freemasons, simply because they cannot use this 'Word' themselves, even though they have stolen this Ancient Knowledge from the Arya. The Arya alone can access and use the 'Lost Word' it is the 'Word-Sword' that proceeds from the mouth of the Aryan Krist. This is the mantra/gealdar that attains this Higher State of Consciousness and gains access to the Higher Realms of Swar-Scandi.
In studying this I have discovered a further 'secret' hidden within the work we have been doing within Folkish Wodenism. In the Hidden Runes revealed to a Woden Initiate in 2012 there are two runes with similar (not the 'same') names, that is NiD and Nid. Here we may see the importance of these Hidden Runes because the idea of 'Need' as being friction (i.e. as those who oppose and try to hinder the progress) is here countered by the idea of the 'Friction-Fire' (Nyd-Fire) which overcomes these obstructions. These are represented by the NID-Rune (nith in Old English being an 'evil' force') and the Nid-Rune which overcomes this 'evil' force. It is the Invocation of Ingwe (Agni) which counters this Force of Evil (Anti-Life).

in his Secret of the Vedas Sri Aurobindo outlines the battle of the Arya and the Aryan Gods against the Forces of Darkness, Ignorance, and Matter. This is a 'Cosmic War' undertaken by our Ancestors and taken up in our era by ourselves. Our 'quest' is to 'discover', to 'find', the Solar World of Light and Truth, to undertake the 'journey' that leads us along the Straight Path leading us to the World of Truth and Right. This is a Spiritual Battle or Spiritual War because this 'Right Path' is blocked by the Forces of Darkness, Ignorance, and Matter. We wage our Spiritual War against these forces.

As found in the 'New Testament' this battle fought against the 'Great Red Dragon' (Satan) resulted in the defeat of these Dark Powers at a spiritual level, resulting in the eruption of this 'Satanic Force' upon the Earth. This is clearly explained by Don Miguel Serrano in his works. The Earth is now the place of the 'Final Conflict' between these Powers of Light and Truth (The Gods and the Arya) and the Powers of Darkness, Matter and Ignorance (The Joten, Thursar, Dasyus). We have consciously taken up this Eternal Struggle for our Gods and our Ancestors.
