The Four Hallows - Gral Runes.

The Legend of the Four Hallows comes through Ireland and the Tuatha de Danaan, so it is here that we must start to look for clues as to what these sacred objects are. We need to understand that these are Spiritual Sacred Objects and even though physical examples may arise through history the underlying essence is one of spirit. I do not think that the importance of these objects has as yet been appreciated - they may well be Magical Power-Weapons useful to us in the struggle against the Dark Forces that seek to destroy our Folk.

We will now look at the Tuatha de Danaan who have a very mysterious and interesting legend in regard to their invasion of Ireland. They are said to have originated in an Island of the North called Lochlann which some hold to be Norway, but which, like the English Island of the North - Scandi - was probably the original Thule-Hyperborea. Here we must be careful not to mix up the Hyperborea (The Northern Centre) with the later At-al-land (Atlantis, the later North-Western Centre). And even then we should understand that the First Hyperborea (I shall call this Ur-Hyperborea) was the one that the Gods lived on, followed by the Second Hyperborea which was where a race of God-Men lived as Herodotus tells us -

'...a glacial island located in the Great North, where lived transparent men'.  (My underlining).

We can see from this that these God-Men were 'transparent' and would probably have had a kind of blue-hue since they would be the true Blue-Bloods, a name given to royalty and to kingship, even though this is a degenerate form of the original Hyperboreans - Sons of Boreas (Sons of Bor).

The later At-al-land was the massive north-western continent of which these islands were once part, prior to its sinking over a long period of time, and its final death through a massive tsunami. The Sacred Stone held by Woden's Folk was thrown up from the centre of the Earth in the latter part of this catastrophe some 7,000 years ago (or thereabouts, we can never be sure, though this dating was given to me by an Odinist Wizard in Scotland which for me makes it have some truth). The last catastrophe broke apart the Scottish Highlands, splitting it along the Moray Firth (where the Stone was found); it is noteworthy that Loch Ness is also along this know fault-line, and Aleister Crowley established his base at Boleskine, before finishing his life at Hastings. The Sacred Stone was found at a place named the Fairy Glen, a place where I actually witnessed the manifestation of one of the Shining Ones - one of the Elvin-Race.

To get back to the Tuatha de Danaan. Their original legend tells that they came in flying ships through a mist of fog, but could not land because the Fomorians had set up a great energy-field that they could not penetrate. They circled Ireland 9 times (Sacred Number 9) before finding a break in the energy-field  and settled down on the Iron Mountain (Sliabh an Iarainn) in Co. Leitrim. They fought the Fir Blogs and then the Fomorians and defeated the Fomorian warrior - Balor. The appearance of one of the chiefs of the Formorians was said to be tall, blond and blue-eyed, which suggests that both sides were of the Aryan Race or Nordic Race. That they came in 'flying ships' suggests something like the vimanas of Aryan Indian Lore, but this was later changed to ships of the sea, obviously flying-ships could not be understood as being possible in such ancient times.

The four cities whence the Tuatha de Danaan came from were - Failias/Falias, Gorias, Findias, and Murias, the roots of which are Fal, Gor, Find, & Mur. From these cities the Four Hallows were brought -

Morias - The Cauldron of Renewal was brought by Manannan who gave his name to the Isle of Man, and who is probably Manu, Mannaz, Mannus etc. In a dream of 1997, whilst the Hale-Bopp Comet was in the north skies, highlighted by Berkana, I was told that the comet had been 'sent by Morgana' who, of course, is Morgan le Fey (Morgan the Fate) and who was originally the Morrigan of Irish Lore. We would call her Urdr or Wyrd. In the same dream 'Capricorn - the Horn of Plenty - was mentioned. This, of course, is the Skapker Heidrunar which is the 'Horn of Plenty' and is the Measuring-Vessel of Heidrun the Goat (Capricorn) which feeds the Einheriar each day. These comments will be relevant to the next of the Four Hallows. This is the Cauldron of Dagda whose son was Aengus. (*)

Falias - The Stone of Destiny was brought by the Morrigan (see above) who is a battle-maiden (Walcyrge) who we know as Wyrd. This is the stone on which the rightful kings were crowned, and is (like our Holy Stone of Ing) the Stone of Origin.

Gorias - The Spear of Victory was brought by Lugh ('Light') and this is the Spear of Woden and the Spear of Destiny as we shall see as this post develops. This spear is the Gift of Ing, and we find that Ingwe-Ingus does figure in Irish Myth through a figure with a very similar myth to Ingui-Frey - Aengus or Oengus.

Findias - Ogma carried the Sword of Light, and Ogma gives his name to the Ogham Signs, and he was probably Og, Ygg etc. (These all develop from a primal Hyperborean Race as I said, and the Germanic-Celtic divide is merely a way to 'divide and conquer').

(*) The Germanic-Celtic divide, as I have just mentioned, is totally false, and the ruling elite of these islands (as all European Nations) was through the Arya. We have seen how the Saxon Nation honoured Irmin - High God of the Arya - and the name 'Erin' seems to stem from his name, or the equivalent Eremon. The idea that the Irish are all 'Celtic' is very misleading since Niall's Saga is Icelandic and features the High KIngs of Ireland. Certain Irish leaders also went to Iceland when it was first set up by the Vikings, and we know Dublin was founded by Vikings, and indeed (if my source was correct) had remains of a previous Saxon settlement.

The Tuatha de Danaan were the Tribe of Danu which is a goddess that some associate with Anu and which is a name that is, significantly, not restricted to Ireland since there is  a cave in the Dane Hills in Leicester named Black Annis' Bower, named after a goddess called Anu, and the name 'Dane' suggests that this is Danu. The de Danaan were eventually defeated by the later invaders called the Milesians, and they were said to have gone 'underground'. This legend is important since it refers to their moving into another dimension, into Asgard-Agharti in the Inner Earth, also linked to Shambhalla. They were thereafter said to be the 'People of the Mounds' - the Siddhe - and some mounds in Ireland, particularly Newgrange, were said to be gateways to the Inner Earth. (**)

We have seen in a previous post and in articles in the magazines that the last four runes in the English Rune-Row fit nicely with the Four Hallows - the Graal Runes as we have called them. The English Rune-Row and Frisian Rune-Row (which are really the same) are the only ones to have the 33-runes and also the Graal-Runes, so these have an importance to us and the English Destiny. Whereas the Irish were lucky to have their mythology come down to them in great part the English Mythology was almost totally destroyed - we wonder why? However the Hyperborean secrets were hidden within the rune-row and we can rediscover them for ourselves - they are also hidden in the Blood Memory. We shall now look at these Graal-Runes -

Cweorth - The Sword : I first suggested that this could be related to the 'sword' and this seems to be confirmed by a comment made on a past post, where it was suggested that this may be a misspelling (***) of Sweorth which means 'sword'. I am going to go along with this because -

1. It makes sense and does fit with the other three objects.

2. I have always been slightly puzzled as to the rune-name Peorth which has to link with Cweorth through the sound. There is no 'p' in the Germanic Tongues, so this is rather out of place, so the Latin 'p' must have replaced something else. The Peorth-Rune is often associated with Wyrd, so it makes sense to see the original as being Weorth; since Wyrd is also associated with 'worth' (weorth) this makes good sense. There is another rune-name for this one and it is Tris, which is Sirt (Surt) spelled backwards.

This is therefore the Sword of Tiw, the Sword of Cheru, the Sword of Herman, the Sword of AEtla and then the Sword of Hengest, as well as being the Sword of Irmin who is the High God of the Arya-Saxons. The Cweorth-Rune is also the Fire-Twirl and thus this represents the Flaming-Sword wielded by the Kalki Avatar (HelgiH), which follows the name Battle-Flame which was the Sword of Hengest. This is the Sword of Victory or Sigisbrand which was passed from Hengest to Cerdic in the War on the Jotun in these islands (note the suffix 'brand' which suggests 'flaming'. This sword is the Sword of Wayland which was forged by Wayland the Smith, and thus Albion - Seventh Sword of Wayland.

This is also the Sword of Need (Nothung) of Wagner's Ring Cycle which is pulled from the Branstock Oak Tree by Sigmund the Wolsunga, placed there by Woden. Only the Rightful King and World Saviour can release the Sword from the Tree, which parallels King Ar-Thur pulling the Sword from the Stone.

(***) It may be that this was a deliberate ploy to hide these mysteries from the profane, since we are aware of the deliberate destruction of the English Mythology.

Calc - The Horn/Cup/Cauldron : This is the vessel known as the Graal which is the Skapker Heidrunar - 'Measuring Vessel of Heidrun the Goat'. It is the Horn of Plenty and is associated with Capricorn (Heidrun), and it sustains the Einheriar, or should we say, the contents sustain the Einheriar. There is a Welsh legend of a 'Chest of Gwyddno Gahanhir' which means a 'measure', so we have a link to the Skapker Heidrunar, and also to a 'chest' found in Njal's Saga  - the Chest of Hildigunnr. This chest contains the Scarlet Robe of Hoskuld Hvitnesgodi and the blood from the five wounds he sustained when he was slain by five killers.

This has parallels with the idea of the 'Turin Shroud' and the blood-image on it, contained in a 'chest'; sometimes such mysteries are carefully hidden in constructed stories that hide the true meaning from the profane. It should also be noted that the 'five wounds' and the 'blood' hint at the Holy Graal.

The 'vessel' seems to be an allegory for the Womb of the Mother and it is linked to the Yule and the darkest night of the year. It is the Womb of Regeneration and New Life which starts off a new era. This is the time ruled by Capricorn-Sagittarius in the Wolf-Moon. This is the Cave of the Mother where the 'Son of Fire' is born.

Agni-Inga (The Sacred Fire) is the son-incarnate of the Sun-God, conceived and born by the 'virgin' Frigga-Freya (Venus), and had the carpenter Tuisto (Swastika) as his earthly father. In the Cave of the 'One of Two-Sticks' who has the name 'The Mother', lives the goddess Freya, the embodiment of Creative Powers, who gives birth to the Son under the sway of Woden (The Spirit), the breeze of the Wind, without which the Holy Fire cannot be lit. The first spark that comes from the Cave of the Sacrum of Frigga-Freya by turning the Fire-Twirl Pramantha represents the birth of Agni-Inga, and this spark is called 'The Divine Child'. This is the Mystery of Ingwe, also known as Krist-os.                                                                                (Adapted from a Hindu Text).

Stan - The Stone : The Stan-Rune has been associated with the White Horse Stone which by the locals is called the Inga-Stone. In a past article on the White Horse Stone I mentioned a link to the White Stone of Ing and I feel that the Stan-Rune also represents the White Stone of Ing. Notice the carvings on the Stone have a similarity to the shape of the Stan-Rune.

The Stan-Rune is a very complex symbolism and it has an alternative which has the XX - Ing Rune by extending the v-shaped top and bottom. This would actually give us the title Stone of Ing. The rune is also twin Peorth-Runes joined together, and thus links to Wyrd ('Stone of Destiny') and also to the idea of a Cauldron since the Peorth-Rune when placed upon its back is a Cauldron as well as the Swan-Ship of Thule/Scandi (Sceaf is the 'Swan-Knight'). We thus have the Calc-Stan link here that adds weight to the other link of Calc (Chalk-White) and Stan (Stone).

The Stan-Rune thus represents the Stone of Origin & Destiny in our case that of the White Stone of Ing which was probably brought here in a 'ship' and placed in the area of Steyning (Stone-Ing) in the South Saxon Mark. Like the 'Stone of Destiny' this would 'cry out' when touched by the Rightful King. On it are the runes Gyfu-Ken-Ing and this represents the Gift of Ing - Fire; but since the alternative Ing-Rune is an 'inverted Y' shape this could also be the Y-Chromosome, especially since the Ing-Rune is the DNA Spiral. The Y-shape is also the Ur-Glyphic Irminsul. (This Ur-Y formula is also found in the Yr-Rune when the ur-glyphic form is used; it is the Y-Chromosome inside the Ur-Rune or Primal Mountain of the North. This also represents the Three Royal Houses of the Angles which have been recorded in the Three Crowns of Anglia legend.)

**** The idea of a cauldron can be found in the Cauldron of Poesy which is a poem from Ireland said to have been put together by Amergin for Eber (King of the Milesians) and Donn /Duinn (God of the Dead - DNN also being the Root of oDiNN). The poem is about three cauldrons that fit with the Taoist Cauldrons and also the Cauldrons Odroerir-Bodn-Son of Norse Lore. These are the Hara-Heart (Solar Plexus)-Third Eye centres that we have worked on in other areas. (This is not a subject we shall deal with here since I have another post to do on this subject; it is important so that we can work on this in parallel to the Power-Weapons mentioned in this post.)

What is important about these 'Cauldrons' is that their use is to induce the Gift of Poetry in the Initiate, and this is the realm of Woden and the Mead of Inspiration. This is the Hidden Man-na associated with the White Stone of Ing and we should note that Mani is the Moon-God and look closely at the tale of Jack and Jill (Hyuki & Bil) related to the 'bucket of water' that is 'spilled'. It is said that the Root of Poetry is to be found -

'...in the Northern Islands of the world (where the Tuatha de Danaan) studied the Occult Lore, Sorcery and the Druidic Arts, Witchcraft and Magical Skills, until they surpassed their sages of the Heathen Arts...'

The root of poetry is said to be adtuithi/aduidi which implies 'from the North' coming from atuaid; We should also note the similarity between the words ad-tuithi and tuatha which would hint at the Danaan from the North. The 'Northern Islands' are Thule-Hyperborea or Scandi which is where the origins of the Germanic Folk lay - in the far distant past. These were the Ur-Druids - the true Hyperborean Druids - whose legends abound in these islands. There could have been a distortion of this priesthood at a later time, though this is a different subject we shall deal with.

Gar - The Spear : This is the Spear of Woden, Spear of Destiny, Spear of Parsifal - G-Ung-nr which is the Gift of Ing. This is also the Tribal Spear of the Merovingian Kings (Wolsungas) who were the Sigambrian Franks (Sigi - Sire of the Wolsungas). It is the Spear that pierced the side of Woden and Krist-os. It is the Spear that is plunged into the Grail, as shown in Parsifal by Richard Wagner (the scene, it was claimed by Aleister Crowley, was first introduced by the Ordo Templi Orientis in Germany for Wagner's opera Parsifal).

The Spear of Lugh ('Light') came from GORias, and here we have the GAR-Rune representing this Mystery. It is also noteworthy that the Sword of Nuada comes from FINdias whilst the Sword of AEtla is passed to Hengest by FINN

The Gar-Rune is an Ing-Rune and Gyfu-Rune ('Gift of Ing') which is thus related to the White Stone of Ing. So we have the Calc-Stan-Gar runes all related in subtle ways. The Sword of Tiw is also related in that the parallel to the Sword in the Tree is the Sword in the Stone - the Root *gar/car/cor/cer is found in some old Celtic words meaning 'stone'. So all four of the Graal-Runes have subtle links with each other. The Gar-Rune is the Gar-al or Graal/Gral - the Holy Blood (Sang-Real) and the Holy Grail (San Greal).

This is the Spear of Destiny that pierced the side of Krist-os - Woden, the Tribal Spear of the Merovingian-Wolsungas, the Spear carried by Frederick Barbarossa, then Otto the Great, passed to AEthelstan who (with the Spear) forged the English Nation, was lost to the world for some time and reclaimed by Adolf Hitler in his role as Siegfried. This is the Spear of Woden that will be wielded by the World Haeland - Parsifal (The Pure Fool).

NEWGRANGE - It would seem that Newgrange is associated with the planet Venus-Freya, which is symbolic of resurrection. Like the Egyptian Pharoahs (+) the Ur-Druids practised a special type of burial that involved the idea of a Resurrection of the Body into the Star-Body (Sahu) which would produce the Immortal Man. This was done under the Light of the Morning Star, which would be the key to the death of the Old King who would be resurrected as the New King (Osiris becomes Horus). We can see the pattern in a well-known story -

  • The Krist-os is conceived at the Spring Evennight, born at the Winter Sunstead, and then dies at the Spring Evennight just as he is conceived.
  • John the Baptist is conceived at the Winter Evennight and is born at the Summer Sunstead.
Newgrange has a skilful alignment of Venus every 8 years when the planet is at its brightest, and this was used for a special Birthing Ritual. This ritual was designed to 'earth' the soul of a new King in a time-continuum. It is noteworthy that the Helgi Mysteries were given to me at the time of the Spring Evennight and in Norse Myth Helgi is born at the Winter Sunstead and with him are the Three Mothers (Wyrd Sisters). What more proof do we need that the Helgi Mysteries were given to me within the workings of the English Destiny and the Coming Haeland (Avatar). The 'death' of the Krist-os comes as the Spring Evennight and his 'resurrection' is three days later at Easter. Here we have a great mystery which is that of the Death of The Fool and his Resurrection in the Spring.

THE DAGDA - He is the chief of the Tuatha de Danaan and is described as a man with a 'Great Eye', wearing a 'Grey Cloak' which is 'hooded', and wielding a Club - all of which seem to link to the One-Eyed Hunter-God whose image is found in the Herne Giant.

THE MORRIGAN - Stands upon 'one leg', 'one eye closed' and reveals her name to be Badh ('Battle-Crow'). The stance is the Crane-Stance which is a magical stance where the Right Eye is closed, the Right Leg is raised and the Right Hand put behind the back. The left-hand side connects to the Right-Brain which is the reason for this Magical Stance.

DANU - She is also Idunn (DNN) who is the Goddess of Immortality, and she was obviously known in England under the name 'Black Annis'. In this legend she lived in a cave (underworld) and was a dark-side of the goddess Danu-Idunn. Idunn is the daughter of Ivalde, chief of one of the Elven Kin, who is also Orwandil or Ur-Waendal, associated with the Long Man of Wilmington.

The Sigurd Lay in the Landscape of England.

The stumbling-block we face in regard to the use of ancient sites around England is that for some centuries now most of the stone circles, cromlechs, standing stones and sacred groves have been associated with 'Celtic' use, and with the 'Celtic Druids', even though the established history tells us that these 'Celts' came here long after these structures were built. Since - we are told - the Anglo-Saxons were late invaders, as were the later Vikings, then these people can lay no claim for the use of such sites. Common sense can disprove this idea if we study the area around the Uffington White Horse and the nearby Wayland's Smithy - areas long used by Odinism and Wodenism.

It is my contention that this area of Oxfordshire (previously Wiltshire) is sacred to the English because it is linked to the Legend of Sigurd the Dragon-Slayer. To prove this we need to study the area and its landscape, which can be equated with this Germanic Myth. Let us look at some ideas -

  • Dragon Hill is supposed to be the site where 'St George' slew the dragon; but 'St George is only a Xtian imposition on the true Dragon-Slayer - Sigurd the Wolsung. In Beowulf we find that it is the father of Sigurd - Sigmunde - who is the Dragon-Slayer. Dragon Hill stands right below the Uffington White Horse.
  • Some have recognised the White Horse as not being quite like a horse, and more like a dragon, which certainly equates with the Dragon-Slayer image. The figure is certainly like a serpent with 'legs' (four legs of a dragon).
  • Between the White Horse and Dragon Hill is a natural 'ditch' which appears to be linked to the area where Sigurd lay and slew the Dragon as it passes over the ditch.
  • Near to the White Horse, and also on the ancient Ridgeway, is the long barrow called Wayland's Smithy, named after Wayland the Smith - an Anglo-Saxon god and famous sword-smith.
The area around the Uffington White Horse has numerous Saxon names, and the name Uffington is that of the Wulfinga Tribe which we find in East Anglia as the Wuffingas. It is thus important to note that this Saxon Tribe was an offshoot of the Wolsungas which were the tribe that Sigurd and Sigemund were kings over. Here we have a direct link to the Wolsungas.

In the Legend of Sigemund a hooded one-eyed figure appears in the House of the Wolsungs and plunges a sword into the Wolsunga Oak Tree - this everyone there recognised as Woden. Sigemund is the 'chosen one' and takes the sword from the Oak Tree. The Sacred Tree is here an Oak Tree, associated with Woden/Wotan in his role as Herne the Hunter-God. This is the Sacred Tree of the Wolsungas. Sigemund is slain in battle after his sword is shattered by the Spear of Woden. It is only through the intervention of Woden himself - sire of the Wolsunga Tribe - that the Hero-King can be slain.

What we need to do here is to recognise that the Sword in the Oak-Tree is symbolised by the Nyd-Rune and that this is the 'Broken Sword' representing the 'Broken I' (i.e. the ego broken). When the Sword is pulled out the 'I' (ego) becomes whole once more - which is the task of the Divine Hero before he can fulfil his destiny. The Nyd-Rune becomes the Is-Rune once the Sword is removed by the Divine Hero. It is also necessary to recognise that the Wolsungas were a unique and special tribe, spawned by Woden in the woodlands, in order to fulfil a Divine Mission.

The legend of the Wolsungas takes us back into the mists of time and the Legend of Siegfried (German version) is so similar to that of the legend of Dagobert, the Merovingian King, as to be no accident. There are certain things that link the Wolsungas to the Merovingian Franks -

  • The Merovingians originated with the Sicambrian Franks, a name also rendered Sigambrian Franks, whose origins lay with a figure called Sigi. This name, of course, was that of the sire of the Wolsungas.
  • The legend of Merovee, who gave his name to the Merovingians, is so much like that of the legend of Romulus and Remus that this too can be no coincidence. Romulus, of course, founded Rome.
  • The totem of the Merovingians was the Wolf, as was that of the Wolsungas and also Romulus and Remus. The sacred weapon of the Merovingian Kings was the Spear - the Spear of Woden.
  • The Merovingian Kings were said to have a birthmark between the shoulder-blades, which is where the leaf fell on the back of Siegfried, and broke his invulnerability, and thus resulted in his being slain - pierced with a Spear as was Dagobert, both by a stream in a forest whilst hunting.
To continue......after the death of Sigemund his son, Sigurd, finds the Broken Sword and reforges it as the weapon to slay the dragon named Fafnir. He awakens the dragon, and (aided by the wise Woden) he lies hidden in a ditch, pierces the heart of the dragon, slays it and then drinks the Blood of the Dragon and eats the Heart of the Dragon. This is where the lay moves away from the mere 'Dragon-Slayer' as was the Xtian 'St George', for Sigurd eats the Heart of the Dragon (its consciousness and soul) and drinks the Blood of the Dragon (its spirit and blood-memory). Sigurd, through this act, becomes a Dragon-King which is an idea not unlike that of the Welsh Uther Pendragon ('Wondrous Head of the Dragon'), and thus the famous 'King Arthur' (who was also a 'chosen one' who took a sword out of a stone, rather than the tree). Before the distorters step in, this does not suggest a 'borrowing' from 'Celtic' sources, since these legends are ancient Germanic Legends and that of King Arthur certainly a Northern Myth connected to Arktur and to the Far North - of Hyperborean origins.

The downfall of Sigurd the Wolsunga is due solely to his rejection of his 'first love' who is symbolic of his Walkyrie-Wife, and although this was in fact down to the wiles of Hagen and a drug, he nevertheless takes on a 'mortal' wife of the 'flesh' and thus forfeits his life in this existence. This is the secret of the Divine Hero and his marriage to the Walkyrie-Wife, the HE-SHE of Miguel Serrano. Sigurd the Wolsunga (Siegfried of the Germans) is the Chosen One but fails to achieve the renewal of Nature. This was the basis of the work of Richard Wagner in his Ring Cycle, which ends in the Gotterdamerung - Twilight of the Gods (World War II).

The Dragon is also symbolic of the Sun, and we have here the idea that Sigurd slays the Solar Dragon (symbolic of the ancient Solar Race) takes in the essence of the most ancient Solar Race, and then takes up the destiny of that ancient Solar Race. It is not he - but Parsifal - who is the Chosen One who fulfils the destiny of the Race of Woden and achieves the renewal of Nature and the slaying of the Evil Klingsor who weaves a world-wide-web of illusion.

Just down the road from Wayland's Smithy is a village called Woolstone which is most likely a corruption of Wolf-Stone, and further along the road (coincidentally) is the Blowing Stone which, it is said, when blown through will awaken King Alfred when the English are in their direst hour. Again, we have a very similar legend to that of King Arthur, and also the German Barbarossa. King Alfred was a good Christian King who persecuted the old Heathen Ways, so just maybe this legend was attached to him but originally referred to the Waking of the Wolf-Spirit when the English were in their direst hour and threatened with extinction.

The Forge of Wayland (Wayland's Smithy) is where the Broken Sword is reforged, and has been used by Odinism and then Wodenism for some 25 years and more - and has been one of the sacred sites used often by Woden's Folk. It is where Sigurd reforged the Sword of the Wolsungas and then set off to slay the Dragon by Dragon Hill. There has been many strange happenings at the Wayland's Smithy which cannot be logically explained away.

One of these was connected to the runic formula ALU which is a Magical Force associated with the Fire-Serpent and its awakening. It could perhaps be seen as the Odroerir, which is the container and the contained. It was at the Smithy that a Saxon Warrior appeared to a local 'medium' and gave her the formula ALU - which was revealed by her to me when my family camped there some years ago. She knew nothing about the formula nor about the Old English Runes. In one photo taken at the entrance to the Smithy a ghostly wolf's head appeared.

Some years ago a strange 'messenger' in the form of a young man ('Druid') turned up, together with his Black Dog, in fulfilment of a strange dream the night before, and mentioned that on a tour of Britain  he had come across a Black Dragon in Scotland, a Red Dragon in Wales, then a Green and then White Dragon in England (the latter we were using at the Folk-Moot). Black-White-Red-Green which are the four colours of Germania. Then he asked about three runes which he had 'seen' whilst walking in the local woods - he knew nothing (again) of the Old English Runes. These runes I recorded, and as I write this article their meaning has suddenly become clearer to me, and relate to the Awakening of the Fire-Serpent and its link to the Wayland's Smithy.

It was prophesied that great Initiates of Fire would arise in our era to 'melt' the frozen Ice and thus aid the movement towards the evolution of man into the Superman. Using the Inga-Fire or the Serpent-Fire there would be an 'up-rush of fire' which would create movement from the stasis - a movement that would rock 'em in their 'ivory towers'. Wayland's Smithy and the Forge of Wayland have a secret yet to be revealed to us......

'When the Ice of the Darkest of Nights melts away under the Fire of the Black Sun within the Inner Earth, the poison apple shall fall away, and the Sleeping Goddess shall awaken, throw off her White Wolf Skin and arise renewed by the Golden Apples of the Immortals.  When the Moon is under her feet and she is clothed in the Golden Sun, she shall bring forth the Divine Child of Light who will lead the English Folk in their Divine Mission against the Servants of Darkness.'

The Evil Brood

Baphomet - The Symbol of Evil

This is a picture of the figure usually called Baphomet which was supposed to be a  symbol of worship used by the Knights Templar. There is some doubt in this as their symbol was said to be a severed head, representing John the Baptist. Whatever the case the above figure would be seen by Christians as 'The Devil'. What should interest us here is the symbolism shown in the figure, which I am going to try to analyse -

The Horned Goat - this stems from the Egyptian 'Goat of Menses' and is a typical symbol of the 'Devil' of the Christians.

Between the horns of the goat is the Flame of the Illuminati, a symbol that seems to refer to the 'Enlightened Ones' - a title usurped by the Dark Forces.A symbolism similar to this was used on a logo for 'VE Day' but it is doubtful whether many actually noticed who was promoting this - the forces of the Occult.

Between the eye-brows at the Third Eye is the pentagram or five-pointed star which is an occult symbol.

The figure is androgyne which suggests the fusion of male-female, part of the plan being brought into being in our times. We are seeing the breakdown of the sexes in our era and this was planned long ago - it would seem.

The figure sits on the globe of the world, suggesting world domination. The root of this concept stems from the book of Genesis in the Old Testament.

The Caduceus symbol suggests the use (or rather abuse) of the Kundalini Force; at the same time it is a male phallic symbol.

To the top left is a White Moon which I am going to suggest is symbolic of the White Man (the roots are the same), and to the bottom left is a Black Moon which suggests the Black Man. On the right arm (pointing upwards at the White Moon) is the term solve and on the left arm (pointing downwards towards the Black Moon) is the term Coagula. We are thus left with a sinister formula -

Solve (break down) the White Man and Coagula (run together) with the Black Man. This is a distorted alchemical formula for the destruction of both races. We can see now why there has been a mass flood of outlanders into the lands of Europe. This is a deliberate attempt to destroy our Folk. And here we have the occult formula given down to us from earlier times, before any of this plan was put into practice.

The figure is winged which would suggest these Dark Forces are trying to work at a spiritual level as well as the material level - though this cannot really work for them since they are the forces of Darkness and Matter.

As I have stated these are alchemical symbols that have been usurped and then distorted for use by an alien force that seeks our destruction. I think this symbol was first used by Eliphas Levi (Louis Alphonse Constant) who was a French Occultist. Baphomet was supposed to be the symbol worshipped by the Knights Templar, but since this was said to be a severed head this may well not derive from the same thing. Whatever the case this seems to be an age-old plan for the destruction of our Race.

The Guardian-Goddess of England

The Guardian-Goddess of England

The above drawing shows the figure of 'Britannia', who is depicted as holding a Trident, a Shield (bearing the Union Flag) and with a war-helmet. She is usually shown on the waves of the sea which suggests the idea of 'Britannia Rules the Waves' - clearly this image being adopted as that of the British Empire. Clearly not an English symbol - or is it?

In 1066 a Norwegian army set out to invade England under their King, Harold Hardrada, and one of his warriors, just before he departed for England, had a very strange dream. He dreamt of a great witch-wife standing on the Island of England, with a fork in one hand and a trough in the other. He interpreted this as a sign that the Norwegian army would be defeated (which it was, at Stamford Bridge, by King Harold) as the witch-wife would use the fork to rake up the dead bodies and fill the trough with blood.

Another Norwegian Warrior had a dream of a huge witch-wife riding on a wolf in front of the English army. The wolf carried the body of a man in its mouth from which blood was dripping. As the wolf ate one body, the witch-wife threw it another to eat.

Now, let us look carefully at the first image which has the following symbolism -

1. A witch-wife which is a Christian interpretation.

2. She stands upon the Island of England.

3. She holds a fork.

4. She also holds a trough which collects the blood in battle.

This image is that of the Guardian Goddess of England who is shown holding a 'fork' (trident) and a 'shield' (trough) and - as the Protector of England - she stands over the land. This is none other than 'Britannia' in a much earlier guise; the original shield may well have shown the English Cross.

In the above we see 'St. Cuthman' (Sceaf-Ing) pushing his 'mother' in a wagon; she is seen holding a forked stick like a 'pitchfork'. This scene shows Ing following his 'waen' (Great Bear), driving his 'mother'.

Now we must move to the dream of the other Norwegian Warrior, where we find the following symbolism which we need to analyse -

1. Another witch-wife is seen, this time riding a wolf in front of the English army.

2. She devours the dead of the enemy.

This symbolism is totally different, especially in one very important way, for this witch-wife does not stand upon the land, but leads the English army. This figure is that of the Guardian-Goddess of the English - not the land of England as Britannia is. She is a Wolf-Goddess and a battle-goddess, and is clearly the goddess Freya or Idunn but in her darker aspect. Many years ago, whilst sleeping in a caravan on the Sussex Coast, I had a vivid dream of a goddess-figure who was associated with the Cat - which is well documented as the goddess Freya. This dream happened on the Summer Sunstead, which is the turn of the year from the Light-to-Darkness. It is thus very significant that this Cat-Goddess (seen as a huge figure in the skies) turned into a Wolf-Goddess who was more blood-thirsty and a darker type of figure. This fits entirely with the dream of the second warrior.

So here we have the figure of the Guardian-Goddess of England seen as a warrior-goddess bearing a trident and a shield - the Protector of the Land of Ing. We also have the figure of the Guardian-Goddess of the English who appears here as the Wolf-Goddess who protects the warriors in battle and indeed, leads the English Warriors into battle. Idunn is associated with the Wolf since she sleeps under a White Wolf Skin ('Odin's Raven Galdor'). In the Norse Myth called 'Odin's raven Galdor' both Idunn and Nanna are the same figures.

Freya is the battle-goddess who has first choice of the warriors fallen in battle, taking them to Folkvang; she is also the same goddess as Frigg, and thus the wife/mistress of Woden (Od). Woden is the Wolf-God and she is the Wolf-Goddess in her darker aspect. She is Idunn who guards the Golden Apples of Immortality and is thus associated with rebirth and regeneration.

Here we have two of the most important images useful in our struggle for English Freedom, for these archetypes need to be awoken once more to protect the Land of England and the English Folk. The White Dragon is not just a flag, nor just a banner, nor even just a symbol of the English - it is a symbol of England, the land, and its Folk. Awaken the image of the White Dragon and the Land of Ing will awake - awaken the White Dragon and the English Folk will awake! This is the true importance of the symbol of the White Dragon, and here we have two more important archetypal symbols to awake!

The Winged Coiled Serpent of Germania!

The Winged Coiled Serpent as the Fire-Serpent

Woden's Folk uses the White Winged Coiled Serpent for the White Dragon, but this is done at an esoteric level, with the use of the normal White Dragon (which the original WDK revived back in the 1980s) at an exoteric level. Variants, as I have stated before, are other versions of the dragon and the wyvern which are sometimes used. The use of the White Winged Coiled Serpent will be explained now.
In Aryan India, through the later Hindus, the methods used in Yoga and Tantric Yoga were designed to awaken what is termed the Kundalini which is symbolised by a Coiled Serpent lying dormant at the base of the spine. This fits exactly with the Norse symbol of Yggdrasil where the dragon Nidhogg lies coiled at the base of the World Tree, with the Eagle at the top of the tree. This symbolism is an alternative to the Winged Coiled Serpent since the Serpent (wingless thus 'earthly') transforms into the Eagle (heavenly - divine - moving towards the gods), whilst the Winged Coiled Serpent also shows the transformation from earthly (i.e. material) into the spiritual realms (heaven). It is the role of Kundalini that we need to look at here.
As stated earlier, this Serpent-Force lies dormant at the Base Chakra ('Wheel') in most people, and the aim of Yoga and Tantra was to awaken this force and thus gain great power from it - the power to evolve. This Coiled Serpent was associated with the goddess Shakti, whose name means 'power'. Once awakened the Fire-Serpent rises and unites with the Crown Shakra where Shiva resides, but this uniting is not the ultimate goal. The ultimate goal is to go beyond this to the Black Sun and the Green Ray (Miguel Serrano).
There seem to be hints that this Serpent-Fire may be symbolised in both Norse Lore and Saxon Lore by the Brisingamen Necklace or Brosingamen Necklace. The names Brising/Brosing are usually said to mean 'Fiery', and the necklace has often been seen as symbolic of the female genitalia  (inverted triangle) - thus symbolic of the Root Chakra or Muladhara. This is also associated with the Hvareno or 'Glory of Light' which comes into the Zoroastrian Tradition and is the Light Power that belongs to 'the Aryan Nations, past and present, and to the Holy Zarathustra...' The awakening of the Serpent-Force would result in the 'halo' associated with the 'saints' - the Circle of Light around the head.
The key to the awakening of the Serpent-Force has to be linked to the 33 runes, since there are 33 'segments' in the spinal column, which itself is linked to both Mount Meru and to Yggdrasil-Irminsul. The symbol of the Irminsul shows clearly the 'wings' of some kind of bird, often like that of the Swan, but which can just as well be the wings of the Dragon. This also applies to the symbolism on the Sutton Hoo Mask. The spinal column is not straight, as usually imagined, but is an S-curve which is symbolic of the Serpent. At the very base is the 'tail' of the Serpent - the coccyx.

When the Kundalini is awakened it is said to open the Third Eye which is the 'Psychic Eye' or true 'Seeing Eye'.

If we study the above diagrams carefully we can see how the Third Eye is associated with the physical centre called the Pituitary Gland above which is the Hypothalamus (right diagram). The left-hand diagram is of the proposed Order Castle at the Wewelsburg Castle which shows the Spear entering the Gral, the point of the Spear actually being at the point of the Third Eye. This shows how advanced these people were in esoteric work, and that the object of the Order Castle was to awaken the Third Eye in the Initiates.

In this drawing, taken from David Icke, the hypothalamus area is shown as being the same as the Eye of Horus of Egyptian Mythology. The suggestion is that the Eye of Horus symbolises the Third Eye. In one sense we can see the loss of one of Woden's Eyes as being that of the atrophied Third Eye since this we know happened some time in the distant past. The aim of the evolution of our race would be to awaken the Serpent Fire and thus awaken the Third Eye once more, thus giving our Folk psychic powers beyond modern comprehension.

Contrary to this evolutionary process the Sons of Darkness seek to lock mankind into the material world, breaking us from the spiritual realms of Light. This process is going on from our birth to our grave, since all forms of 'education' are aimed at the use of the left-brain or 'rational brain' rather than a healthy balance of the right & left sides of the brain, with the use of the atrophied Serpent Brain and the balance held in the Corpus Callosum which acts as the communication between the two sides of the brain. The left-brain deals with logic, numbers as units, analysing, etc. whilst the right-brain deals with recognition, understanding of space, shapes, form, poetry, rhythm, music etc. and is the creative side of the brain.

The use of mathematics with numbers as 'units' and the use of language as 'letters' is done in nearly all forms of education today. Everything is geared to left-brain activity and the creative side of the brain is mainly pushed aside, apart from those who are good at artwork, poetry or certain form of drama that are akin to ritual. One of the main things that is ignored is the imagination which is being stifled now in children, since many of the old 'children's tales' and 'fairy tales' are no longer being read to children. If we study these there are so many that have no logical meaning whatever but have a deeper meaning that can only be 'felt' by the other side of the brain. This is much like the Zen Koans which are somewhat like riddles, a typical method used in Anglo-Saxon times to stimulate the brain.

The key to the awakening of the Fire-Serpent would seem to be the Vital Breath as we can see from the Sutton Hoo Mask where the nose-piece is the ondweg or 'Way of the Vital Breath'. Here the Serpent that is seen to come from the base of the neck (Serpent-Brain?) across the top of the skull, ending at the Third Eye where it contacts the Eagle-Dragon-Swan whose wings are the 'eyebrows'.

The Saxon Irminsul is an 'arrow' pointing upwards with the tip between the two 'wings', and which is something very similar to the symbolism of the Dancing Warriors -

1. Both symbols have the Solar Horns - upward-pointing 'horns' or 'wings'.

2. Both symbols have the Lunar Horns - downward-pointing 'horns' or 'volutes'.

On the Sutton Hoo Mask the ends of the 'wings' (eyebrows) end in Boar's Heads whereas the ends of the Dancing Warrior's Solar Horns end in bird's heads. The symbolism has to be of importance, as does the 'heel' emphasised in some of the 'dancing' figures. I have shown in a previous article how some figures are totally naked apart from a belt and buckle, which must emphasise the buckle as symbolic of the hara or Tan Dien which is around 2 fingers below the navel. This point is one of the Power-Centres of the human body and the seat of Odroerir - the Wod-Roarer.

Another part of the use of the Vital Breath is that of visualisation which is the important part of any magical operation or ritual, since it gives intent and purpose to what would otherwise be like an empty shell. I have on numerous occasions emphasised that runic gealdor is of no use without -

1. Visualisation.

2. One-pointed concentration.

3. Intent/purpose.

4. Will.

Gealdor and sound are also part of the process of awakening the Kundalini - called 'Mantra' in Yoga and Tantra. The actual movement of the Fire-Serpent could be likened to the S-movement of the serpent, moving around and activating the Chakras (Wheels). If this is so then each chakra would move in the opposite direction to that before and after. If we project the 33-runes onto the Spinal Column (Mount Meru-Yggdrasil) and start at the base with Feoh, then the Gar-Rune would represent the top of the Spinal Column as the 33rd sector from the base. Since the Fire-Serpent is said to reach the Third Eye, and we see this on the Sutton Hoo Mask, then this point (as seen on the proposed form of the Wewelsburg Order Castle) is the tip of the Spear of Woden, the Gar-Rune actually being the Spear of Woden.

The Spear of Woden is the 'Gift of Ing' which is a symbolism found in the Edel-Rune and on the White Stone of Ing. In all of these there is a link with the DNA and the Genetic Code, as well as the Blood Memory (Ing-Rune). There are clear links between the Ing-Rune (22), the Edel-Rune (24) and the Gar-Rune (33). Since the last four runes are seen (in our system) as the Gral Runes we can link these to the idea of the opening of the Third Eye.

We have earlier mentioned that today's world emphasises the left-brain function of rationality, whereas the ideal is the balance of the two sides of the brain. In order to understand where we are going wrong we need to look at something that is today either forgotten, ignored, or even suppressed - the function of the Heart Centre. Science has discovered that the heart has a consciousness of its own, set apart from the brain. This would seem rather strange but for the fact that we already have a number of sayings that suggest that the heart does have its own consciousness -

Take it to heart...

Learn by heart...

Has'nt the heart...

Heart and Soul - thus linking the heart with the soul.

Hale and Hearty - suggesting a harmonious working linked to the heart-centre.

He gave all his heart...

Heartfelt greetings...

She was heartbroken...

He broke her heart...

All of these (and more) suggest there is something special about the human heart and/or the Heart Centre. In The Final Battalion (55 Club - from Amazon.co.uk) there is a very interesting piece about the First and the Last or the Beginning and the End where the author gives the following key to this -

H-eart (the 'H' is here the first)

Eart-H (the 'H' is here the last, making the word Earth)

We have here a clear link between the Heart-Centre and the Earth, suggesting that the opening of the Heart Centre is the key to the awakening of the Earth - i.e. the Sleeping Goddess whom we can see as the 'Sleeping Beauty' or Idunn under the White Wolf-Skin, and even link this to the Sleeping-Goddess Kundalini. It is interesting to note that in Odin's Raven Song the gods try to awaken Idunn, unsuccessfully, until it is suggested that they 'sleep' on it and await the New dawn - i.e. await the correct time of the Cosmic Cycle. Miguel Serrano suggests that the Feathered Serpent (Kundalini) arose as far as the Heart-Centre until halted by the Great Flood, at which time it lost it's 'wings' and was thus transformed into the earth-bound 'serpent'. The aim of human evolution is to arouse the serpent once more which must regain it's 'wings' and fly upwards towards the Morning Star. From our own Folk-Tales and Germanic Mythology it is clear that it is the Divine Hero who awakens the Sleeping Goddess.

The Sanskrit kund means 'to burn' and kunda means 'to coil'/'spiral', hence the term Kundalini - 'Fire Serpent'. The roots of this word links to our term candle and also to the Ken-Rune or Kan-Rune - this is the Kandil-Force in Wodenic Lore. The Mayan Hurakan (from which we get 'hurricane') has been said to represent Kundalini. We have mentioned the Ken-Rune as linked to the Fire-Serpent and there is also a link with the Sigel-Rune too, which is a glyph of the Serpent as well as the Lightning-Bolt.

The above White Dragon has three and a half coils, as does the Fire-serpent, and is the one used by the Inner Order of Woden's Folk. This is a Winged Coiled Serpent which is the Ur-Form of the Dragon. One of the earliest mentions of the dragon as a Germanic Symbol is in the Welsh Mabinogian where mention is made of a Golden Winged Coiled Serpent from Germany. We need to understand the nature of the colour-symbolism -

Golden Dragon - Golden Sun - The Dawn.

White Dragon - White Sun - The Day.

Red Dragon - Red Sun - The Dusk.

It may be for this reason that the name Whitsuntide was used for the time around the end of May, this meaning White Sun Tide. It could also be why the name has been dropped and replaced by the meaningless term 'Spring Bank Holiday'. It should be noted how our 'Holy Days' have been deemed to be linked to the 'banks' and to money and materialism.

The White Dragon has the same symbolism since this has the body of a Serpent with wings and a tail; but this version is not coiled as the esoteric version.

This version is the two-legged Wyvern version which has exactly the same symbolism but has two legs rather than four.

This is the White Wyvern symbolism on a red shield which has been in use for some years by Woden's Folk. I have mentioned that the term wyvern could be a play-on-words for wif-earn meaning 'Eagle-Woman' or 'Eagle-Wife', this being associated with Wyrd and the Norns. This is further hinted at by the use of two legs, since the Eagle has two clawed feet.

I have mentioned the link between Kundalini and the Sig-Rune, so it is just a step further to note that when this force is awakened it is said to give a kind of 'electric' feeling up and down the spine, and the feeling of 'fire' (warmth) - which is something that occurs with deep, relaxed meditation. The Sig-Rune also represents 'electricity' because of its symbolism of the Lightning-Bolt. Kundalini has been said to reside in the triangular-shaped sacrum in three and a half coils - maybe this is why 'sacrum' means 'sacred'. Others say it resides in the coccyx, but the thing we need to understand is that the important thing is not the physical location - which is only a marker - because this is in what has sometimes been called the 'subtle body'.

The Serpent represents the 'earthly' aspect since it glides along the ground   and is 'earth-bound'. The Winged Serpent (or 'Feathered Serpent') is air-bound and moves towards the heavens and towards the divine. This is a very important symbolism, since the Winged Coiled Serpent represents the transformation of man into the God-Man. The White Dragon also represents our own Milky Way Galaxy which is a spiral form and which has 88 constellations - in two-dimensional form it is a curvilinear swastika.

The Winged Coiled Serpent is also the Feathered Serpent who was called Quetzalcoatl (Aztec) and Kukulkan (Mayan), both seeming to be associated with the Morning Star - Venus. It can be no coincidence that Quetzalcoatl sails across the seas in a boat, just as Sceaf-Ing sails to Scandi in a boat, and both are associated with Venus - Ing being 'Lord of the Elves' and as Ingvi-Frey he is of the Vanir-Gods, hence the association with Venus. Sceaf-Ing is the Divine Ancestor of the English Folk. Both arrive amongst a people as culture-bearers bringing the art of cultivation and science. We also have an account of Sceaf bearing a 'lighted taper' which obviously symbolises Fire which suggests a link with the Fire-Serpent and to the Nyd-Fire or 'Friction-Fire'.

Many centuries ago, according to the legend, the Serpent came out of the sea and grew wings. ...It had started its journey to the stars, and particularly the Morning Star, when suddenly it was overcome by the waters of the great Flood, which waters inundated the earth. On this occasion the Plumed Serpent did not drown, but it lost its wings.Had these wings not been destroyed, the Serpent would surely have reached the Morning Star, and there in the spacious palace there would have been a meeting. The joy of that encounter could have been expressed only in tears, forming the fruit of eternity.”

The Serpent of Paradise – Miguel Serrano.

The aim is to continue that upward journey to the stars..........

The Woden Mystery Religion.

I think that most people are aware that we need a new Folkish Religion that will bring the English Folk together, unifying the elements that are today broken into factions and split through constant arguments and inter-group strife. Where there was a growing unity of purpose this has now been lost, and the awakening English Consciousness has been distorted and the English Destiny diverted from its true course. In referring to a Folkish Religion I mean an exoteric religion that is clearly based upon a working knowledge of the Eternal Struggle that we are waging against the Sons of Darkness and Matter. It is not enough just to try to revive an old religion which has long been dead and gone, neither is it enough to try to attract the masses at this time - the 'numbers game' will only fail in the long term.

The key to the Woden Folk-Religion lies in its basic tenet that we are entering a New Age and that this requires a new god-form or archetype and that this new archetype is that of Wid-Ar the Avenger. The form of the 'hanged god' is no longer viable, whether 'Christ' or 'Odin' since this archetype does not correspond to the needs of our Folk today. There  were certain comments made in pre-war Germany such as 'Odin is Dead!' which did not imply that these people did not recognise the importance of Odin, but that they recognised that the Odin Archetype of the 'hanged god' was 'dead' and that Odin was to be resurrected as the 'Living God' who had climbed down from the Wolf-Tree and become a new Warrior-God, young and virile since he had resurrected as 'The Son'. This is why we call our religious movement Wodenism since the High God is still Woden but resurrected in the form of his 'Son' - Wid-Ar.

If we look at some different religions of the past - Greek, Roman, Egyptian - we find that each one of them is an exoteric religion aimed at the broad mass of people, but with an esoteric religion or Mystery Religion as a form of 'Inner Order', this being an Initiatory Religion aimed at an inner 'elite' whose role was to keep alive the Ancient Wisdom and pass it on to future generations. Above all, the role of these Mystery Religions was to keep the religion as pure as possible and avoid distortion and destruction from outside.

Now we can see the true role of Woden's Folk which has always been based more upon the esoteric side of the religion - as a true Mystery Religion. Wodenism was revived by Woden's Folk as an exoteric religion needed by the English Folk, and within this (from the start) was the Inner Order or Mystery Religion in one form or another. The emphasis (at this time) was towards the esoteric because such a new form of religion needs time to establish itself before it can be promoted to a wider audience. If this had not been done the whole thing would have become distorted and lose its origins within the Folkish Movement.

The first thing that any Mystery Religion needs is a connection to the Sacred Centre, the Gods and Ancestors. This has been aptly proven by many of the strange phenomena that have been either witnessed or photographed at our Folk-Moots, especially those that we have done at the Wayland's Smithy. Through the Hearth of Wayland (OR), the original White Dragon Kindred, and then Woden's Folk we have used this sacred site for the last 25 years or so - and we shall continue to do so into the future since we have had proof of the effect of our work at this site on many occasions.

There is another thing that sets WF apart from some Odinist and non-Folkish Wodenist groups is that we see the god Woden in a far different role than is usual given to him -

1. The Wolf-God and Leader of the Mannerbunde.

2. The Wild Huntsman - this is a far darker role than is usually attributed to Woden.

3. The Leader of the Einheriar and thus the god that leads the Forces of Light against the Forces of Darkness and Chaos.

4. The resurrection of Woden as Wid-Ar who is the Avenging God and whose incarnation we await in our times - an avatar role.

5. The Mystical Initiator into the Light of Higher Consciousness whose role is to aid the evolution of our Folk upwards towards the Superman. In this role Woden leads the revolt against the 'Dark Lord' that controls the world today, and has locked mankind into the material world and broken the link with the Spiritual Worlds.

6. The Avatar role, which recognises that Woden incarnates on Earth at certain periods of the Cosmic Cycle, and that He came down to our Folk from 1933-1945 to wage a Holy War against the Darkness and to expose the Great Enemy that seeks the total destruction of our Folk.

7. Woden as the 'Serpent-Slayer' the role shown in the Nine Herbs Charm the key to which is the 33-rune Atalland Rune-Row which goes back into very ancient times, and which has been revived by the Ar-Kan Rune-Lag within Woden's Folk.

These aspects of the Woden Folk-Religion separates WF from any other Wodenist group, hence why we stick to the term Folkish Wodenism to differentiate from those who do not take our line. We recognise the need for an initiatory Mystery Religion that will keep our work from getting distorted and 'watered-down' through a more 'populist' approach that will play the 'number's game' (this is always true of any movement, and a close look at the 'nationalist' scene of the past 50 years or so will verify that this happens). The strength of WF has always been in its Inner Order which has remained true to our weltanshauung, ideology and ideas and has kept the new religious movement from being distorted or destroyed.

What is most important at this time is to disseminate our ideas to a wider audience, since this is how we can establish our work at an exoteric level. It is well established that after around 2005 the original mainly-Christian based 'Englisc' scene moved towards the heathen religion of Wodenism and this was due to the work of Woden's Folk - the hard work of all WF Activists who took time and effort to work for this aim. Unfortunately, the 'Englisc' scene became full of internal strife and arguments, fall-outs over the most petty things, rampant egoism and the usual problem of 'too many chiefs and not enough Indians'. The fact that this scene was not Folkish in outlook made for a situation in which very few 'English Nationalists' knew anything about the world-situation and many followed the new street-movements that are clearly state-sponsored and backed, and whose aim was to continue the 'official' war on 'World-Wide Terrorism' at every level, in the process controlling the so-called 'right' as much as the 'left' had been previously.

The importance of the Woden Mystery Religion cannot be overemphasised, because since the original awakening of English Consciousness (through the awakening of the symbol of the White Dragon) the whole thing has been distorted and the English Awakening has not taken place. The only way for WF is to step back and to move towards the more esoteric Woden Mystery Religion with our work being aimed at the magical awakening of the White Dragon symbol within the consciousness of the English Folk. Through certain magical rites and talismanic rites the White Dragon was 'roused' so we need to return to this stage to start over again in the process of this awakening. This time the emphasis will be on the Folkish Movement as the basis for an English Awakening - Woden's Folk will keep the Flame of the Folkish Movement alive until such time as the Last Avatar arises here in England.

From THE TRIANGLE shall come
Wid-Ar - the Avenging Son! (*)

Keep the Faith! Keep True to the Folk! And above all - BELIEVE! The Hooded Man IS coming to the forest.........

The White Dragon

I am going to answer a comment made about our use of the White Dragon on a YouTube video called The Awakening of the White Dragon'. The comment states that this should not be a 'dragon' but a 'wyvern'. No doubt this springs from the rendering of a two-legged 'wind-sock' version on the Bayeux Tapestry. This 'wind-sock' version seems to have originated with the Scythians who used just this pattern for their war-banners, and being Sacae-Sani this is feasible.

Geoffrey of Monmouth mentions the White Dragon as representing the Saxons, and the Welsh Mabinogian mentions the Golden Winged Coiled Serpent of Germany. Both of these are interesting and both have a ring of truth about them, for the latter - a 'winged coiled serpent' is the true and original version of the 'dragon', whose name itself derives from the roots -

dra - 'to twist', 'to coil', 'to turn'

kan - 'serpent'

We have two distinct Saxon-German symbols here, the White Dragon on a red background, and the Golden Dragon on a blue background, the latter being a very early Aryan Symbol (Gold on Blue). We adopted the White Dragon on a red background since it stands in opposition to the Red Dragon of Juda-Rome, and fits into the ancient archetypal myth of the conflict of the Island Dragons for the supremacy of the Islands of the Mighty. I see it as extremely important that we follow this archetypal pattern in order to fulfil the Woden Destiny that drives us onwards and upwards in our struggle against the Forces of Darkness and Matter.

In a past article that I wrote, some years ago now, I mentioned the idea of the wyvern (two-legged 'dragon') and how it is quite possible that the name stems from wif-earn, i.e. that it is a corruption of wif-earn, which means 'Eagle-Woman'. This would link this symbol to the Norns, for the Eagle-Woman can be found on the arms of the town of Nurnberg (Berg of the Norns) in Germany. According to Guido von List this is the White Lady who often appears as a 'ghost' in ancient castles etc. and is the Arkona. (It is strange to relate that such a figure was seen to leave Germany after World War II, as if the Soul of the German Race had departed with its defeat.) So the 'wyvern' would have been an eagle rather than a dragon, if this idea is correct.

Again, whether we use a two-legged 'wyvern' or a four-legged 'dragon' is not really that relevant, for both symbols are important to our cause. But the true and original 'dragon' is the Winged Coiled Serpent which as the name suggests, does not need 'legs' at all - it is the Serpent (earthly and material) that is transmuted into the Winged Serpent (heavenly and immortal). Indeed, here the 'wyvern' as an Eagle is most certainly an alternative symbol since the shamanic symbols of the Serpent (Base of Tree) and Eagle (Top of Tree) have been used in Norse Mythology and elsewhere, and are linked to the awakening of the Kundalini-Force or the Fire-Serpent.

There are three distinct symbols that represent the higher Spiritual realms -

1. The Winged, Coiled Serpent (Dragon).

2. The Eagle.

3. The Swan.

All of these are in some ways interchangeable and they have been used to represent the same higher spiritual realms and powers. The bird on the front of the Sutton Hoo Mask could be any one of these (or all of them) and which one really does not matter a lot, since they mean the same in this type of symbolism.

We could see a formula arising here, taking the Serpent as an earthly, chthonic symbol, symbolic of the S-elf (self) which is the 'lower' part of our being (the letter 'S' is indeed symbolic of the Serpent which not only makes this sound, but also glides along the ground in this pattern). Using the arising of the Fire-Serpent (Kundalini) through certain spiritual practices, the S-elf is transformed (as the symbol of dragon-eagle-swan) into the Elf ('Shining One' or 'Immortal') as the Serpent grows wings and reaches for the 'heavens' (i.e. the higher spiritual realms). This is what is usually termed the 'Higher Self' but which the term 'Elf' would fit perfectly since this refers to a higher spiritual being.

If anything fits perfectly into this symbolism it is the Dragon since this should be a Winged, Coiled Serpent and which grows these wings out of the basic Serpent form, thus being transmuted from a material earthly form into a higher spiritual form - taking on an Immortal Body. The use of the White Dragon by Woden's Folk is simply to fit this role, the role that has been assigned to the English Folk, that of effecting an 'awakening', in this case the 'awakening' of the Fire-Serpent. To understand this an understanding of the esoteric meaning of the dragon is needed. This has nothing whatever to do with 'historical fact' (whatever that is) but with the careful use of symbolism in a Cosmic Struggle that is being fought on all levels. An archetypal myth is being played out here on Earth! That is the conflict of the White Dragon and Red Dragon.
