Hengest and the Flaming-Sword

'Then was winter gone,

The bosom of the Earth beautiful...

So he did not hinder world-ruler

As I have shown many times, recorded in the first book that I wrote, the Hun-Sword passes from the Hun to the Engel-Kin; when Hengest ('Ghost of Ing') receives it he does not refuse the 'world-ruler' given to him. But...the term worold-raedan could also mean 'World-Raed' or 'World-Counsel'. This changes the whole thing, although it does not invalidate the first theory at all. Both can - and will - come about in time. This all comes about at the start of a new world-age, when the winter was gone and the spring began, and the Earth started to receive the Light of the (Black) Sun. 

Thus the 'Ghost of Ing' takes up the Flaming Sword in order to work the Will of Woden in the world. Hengest sailed to England in order to aid the Teutonic Folk here (many of whom were the Ingwaeones) and to break them free of the chains of thraldom to the distorted and alien Christian Religion which had taken hold here through the Romans, later to be spread northwards by the Christian Franks who had lost the leadership and guidance of the True Kings of the Franks - the Wolsungas - whose power had been usurped by the Carolingians. It was through the Carolingians that the Saxons were slaughtered and the Frisians later enslaved, though this was not a walkover since there were Heathen Kings who led their Folk in battle against this growing evil - Widukind of the Saxons and Raedbad of the Frisians. To combat the growing Powers of Darkness the Vikings poured out of Scandinavia, and led by other Folk-Heroes such as Ragnar Lodbrok, held back the Darkness for a time as today what is left of the Light-Born Heathen-Folk, shine as a Light in the Darkness. 

In the time of greatest darkness, the 'Gaest of Ingus' appears once more to hold back the Powers of Darkness and Chaos. He wields the Battle-Flame of the White Dragon, which was found by Helgi, Son of Hereward, in Sigar's Holm (*) , the sword with the 'blood-hued wyrm' on its blade, wound with gold, a snake coiling around the sword-guard. One of forty-six such swords - 'the best of swords'. This is the Sword of AEtla the Hun, passed from the Hun to the Engel-Kin. Hengest, riding the White Horse, wields the Word-Sword which spreads The Word of Woden far and wide amongst the Kinfolk. 

(*) 'Victory-Island' or 'Sigar's Island' or even 'Sig-Ar's Island'.

As has been prophesied of old, the Power of the Black Sun is rising again, resurrected from the 'dead' in the Age of Ing - the Age of Aquarius. This is the Dawn-Time of the New Age, that time when the Light and Darkness are in balance, neither one being supreme. Yet this is in the darkest part of the Cycle of the Ages, and thus the Forces of Darkness are at their strongest - but there is a Lightning-Flash in the Darkness, a pinpoint of Light in a world of Darkness. There is a Spiritual Force that appears in the time of greatest darkness, a force that rises like a Comet, and can only be slain by the Spear of Woden himself, when he passes this to Daeg to wield when the Light of Day has come. And then shall come the Last Avatar - the Third Sargon - the Kalki Avatar - Wid-Ar the Avenger - Helgi Haddinga. But this will be in a future time, but still at the beginning of the Age of Aquarius.............

Our English Forefathers put freedom above everything they held sacred; freedom was the one thing they would fight and die for. They valued their freedom to say what they wished to say, to live as free men and women according to the customs and the laws of their Forefathers. They valued their freedom to choose their own beliefs and religious beliefs. They fought against those who sought to impose their will upon them, to dictate what they could say, what they could do, and what they could believe in. They defied kings and priests alike in their struggle to stay free men and women.

The names of those great Folk-Heroes of eld ring through Time and Space to their kinfolk of today. Boudicca the Iceni, Hengest and Horsa, AEtheflaed, Widukind the Saxon, Raedbad the Frisian, Ragnar Lodbrok, Edric the Wild, Robin i' the Hood, Hereward the Wake - these Folk-Heroes rise above the crowd to become god-like heroes of our Folk. Even when Christianity held sway over our people great men arose to continue the fight for freedom from invasion - Admiral Lord Nelson, the Duke of Wellington, Sir Walter Raleigh - these late-comers still retained that love of freedom and the love of a free nation. 

A spate of films and TV Series based upon warrior-hood and heroism have been made during the last couple of decades - Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit were shown at the turn of the millennium and over the 2012 period. The Vikings, The Last Kingdom, The Ice-Man (Otzi), Alpha, and The Last Warrior were more recent; The Vikings and The Last Kingdom have no doubt opened people's eyes to the Heathen Vikings and were not too complementary in their portrayal of the Christians. The latest to appear was in 2018 when the film 'Redbad' appeared, here in England as 'Rise of the Viking'; no doubt the name-change was due to the fact few would have known who Redbad was. 

Rise of the Viking is based upon Redbad the Frisian who fought tooth and nail against the growing oppression of the Christian Franks. The Frankish King, Pepin of Herstal, named after the figure who is thought to have been involved in the murder of the last Merovingian King, Dagobert II, tries to use Christianity in order to impose his will upon the Northlands, starting with Frisia. In the film Pepin is murdered by his son, Karl Martel ('Karl the Hammer'), who then takes up this agenda with even more fire and blood. The Christian King and his Christian Priest, Willibrord, are seen to be ruthless tyrants intent on murder and terror designed to crush the will of the Frisians. 

The pupil of Willibrord, Boniface (from England I believe), is portrayed as less brutal, and the wife of Redbad, who is also a Christian, is seen to believe in the ways of Christ but in a far different way to that of the Christian Church of the time. The visual effects of rows and rows of shields bearing the Christian Cross, and the huge towers of the Christian Franks bearing Christian Crosses, gives the impression of subjugation, suppression and ruthless terror upon others. Compare this with the barbaric look of the Heathen Frisians, their fierce eyes  blazing with the glint of freedom! Redbad, however, like the ancient Zarathustra, believed that the Heathen Frisians should abandon their customs of sacrificing human life which he believed was wrong - and indeed seems to have been introduced from outside of the Ur-Religion. 

Not seen in the film was the fact that the father of Redbad, Aldigisl, was a Christian, but Redbad revived the Heathen Religion and worship of Woden. In the film Aldigisl did not condemn the sacrifices that were their custom, but ensured that those who were chosen by lot (runes) were sacrificed 'out of their own free will'. One of the things that stood out in this film, which I believe was done in the Dutch Tongue (with English subtitles and English spoken by the Danes and Franks), was how many words in this tongue could be understood even in  modern English, many still retained in different dialects of English. This tongue seemed to ring deep into the Blood Memory.

Redbad's Mother is a Priest of Freya and Seeress of Freya, and his wife is Frea, the Anglo-Frisian name for Freya. Noteworthy, both the first love (Fenne) and his wife (Frea) are Shield-Maidens who fight with courage and bravery beside their menfolk in the fight for freedom. Written into this film is Archetypal Myth in the form of Redbad not wishing to be leader (Aragorn), being sacrificed to Woden by being cast adrift in a boat that floats ashore in the land of the Danes, found by Frea who becomes his wife, and then living amongst the Danes - like Ingus he sailed over the waves. 

Redbad and Frea have a son, Poppo, who is saved from death at the end through the courage of Fenne who throws herself into the path of a spear thrown by a Frank. The fight against the Franks is a long and hard struggle, and amongst the Frisians are cowards and traitors who in fear sell themselves out to the Franks. The mass of Frisians refuse to bow to the Christian Priests and at one point the new church built by Pepin in Friesland is set afire and burnt to the ground, which bodes not well, and he orders a stone one to be built and then butchers and massacres more Frisians. 

Karl Martel, in the film, murders his own father, Pepin, and then proceeds - in the role of a ruthless power-hungry tyrant - to murder the heir to the throne who is a mere boy. He is married to the sister of Redbad, and in typical fashion of a tyrant, he brutally abuses her before going on to 'convert' the Frisians. Jurre leads the Frisians into battle, but it is the tactics of Redbad that win the day against Karl Martel - and the Frisians hail Redbad as their leader. But he would still not take up this role as yet. The battle-cry chanted as the Frisians go into the fray is - 'For Woden!' (The name 'Woden' is used throughout the film, not 'Wodan' which is the Dutch spelling.)

Aldigisl, his father, often pushes Redbad to become a true leader, even though he will not accept the role he is destined for - this is Archetypal Myth. His father says to him -

'It is not about you; it is not about me; it is about the Folk.'

With the felling of the Sacred Oak Tree Redbad, Frea and Fenne are taken prisoner by the Franks, and the baby Poppo is taken too. His mother is slain but whispers in his ear -

'They cannot kill our world - You know who you are!'

But despite the treasonous work of Jurre's father who sells out to the Franks, in secret an agreement is made between the Frisians and the Danes, the Danes coming over in their longships to fight with the Frisians, and the time has been set for the battle. 

Here, Willibrord, in his usual vicious fashion as Priest of the Religion of Peace (Christianity), tries to forcibly baptise Redbad, who at first gives way. As he is ducked under the water his father's words can be heard urging him not to give way, not to yield to tyranny, at the end of which he hears - 

This is not about you. 

This is not about me,

'It's about  our Folk and Nation'  

'Now stand up Redbad - Rise!'. 

He stands, and then comes the famous speech that comes down to us in history. He asks if his forefathers will be in Heaven, to which he gets the reply - 'No'. He asks again and gets the same reply. Then he rolls off the names of his forefathers, his family, all of whom are 'good men' but gets the same reply - 'No!' He then cries out, asking why he should take up such a religion, and then exclaims - 'I would rather be in hell with my friends than in heaven with my enemies!' A sword is thrown to him and the Frisians fight and beat the Franks who flee to Dorestad, taking baby Poppo with them.

The scene is set for the last battle, where Redbad uses the advantage of his Mother's teachings to wait for a Lunar Eclipse that night. The Christians fall about in panic, no doubt due to their superstitious beliefs; Redbad gives a final rousing speech to his men, balls of fire are hurled into the ranks of the Franks, and the Frisians hurl themselves upon the ranks of shields bearing the Cross of Christ. The Danes attack from the other side and the battle ends when Karl Martel is defeated, and allowed (by Redbad for some reason) to get away; he orders his man to throw the spear at Poppo, but Fenne throws herself into the way and dies on the spot. Her courage in sacrificing her own life brings shame upon the cowards and traitors who bowed to tyranny. 

At the end of the film it is stated that Wilibrord and Boniface are made saints and go into the history books, whilst Redbad is cut out of the history books and his memory is erased completely. Indeed, his name was smeared and his life-struggle distorted. He lives on, however, in legend - which never dies! 

This film captures a heroic age in which free men and free women are willing to fight and die for the freedom of their Folk and Nation. Even in these times there are cowards and traitors who will not fight and bow to terror and tyranny. Redbad is a true Folk-Hero who frees his Folk from thraldom and tyranny; after his death things change and Boniface is murdered by 'brigands' (?) giving Karl Martel the chance to renew his vicious attacks and slaughter and subdue the Frisians. But for a time - a small point in time - Redbad holds back these Forces of Evil against all odds. This is all part of an unfolding wyrd, because after this the Danes build a defensive wall against the onslaught of the Franks, and then the hordes of long-ships leave the Northlands to push back the Frankish invasions. England was no doubt picked because the Christian English aided the Franks at the time - Danes, Swedes and Norwegians poured over the seas, the most famous Folk-Hero being Ragnar Lodbrok. Again, these Forces of Evil were held in check, pushed back, but again the people gave in to the Christian yoke.

This is one of Nostradamus' Prophecies that has not been widely accepted as being a prophecy of the death of Lady Diana Spencer. It seems clear that this is the case, though. Her life was actually nothing really sensational, though it was played up to be so, but her death and her funeral certainly were. She died on August 31st 1997 in the 'Year of the Great Comet'. The 'prophet' here is Mohammet since the father of the man she was with in the car she died in was named thus - Mohammed Fayed. There are many conspiracy theories about here death and most point to a 'Ritual Killing', but we shall ignore in favour of some things we can be more sure of. There are too many 'coincidences' about her that are more important -

• Her name is that of the Goddess Diana who is said to be a 'Moon Goddess', the Roman equivalent to the Greek Artemis. Her name is alike to 'Dana' and so she may be connected to Venus - the Morning Star. 
• She died in a car crash in Paris, France, at a place that some have connected to the Merovingian Kings - the Wolsungas. 
• Her funeral was similar, it seems, to that of the death of Rufus here in England, when thousands of the people gathered to mourn. He was also said to have had a 'Ritual Death'. 
• She was hounded by the gutter-press and at her funeral Earl Spencer attacked the gutter-press by saying that 'she was dealing with a very dark side of the media...'
• The island on which she is buried is called 'The Oval' which is an island in a small lake on which White Roses are planted, and on which are Four Black Swans. An avenue of 36 Oak Trees leads to the island. White Lilies grown on the lake. 
• A re-rendering of Elton John's 'Candle in the Wind' calls her 'England's Rose' and also -

'This torch we'll always carry

For our Nation's Golden Child'

• Charles Spencer saw a vision of the burial area before it was set up. The area is in Althorp, Northamptonshire.  

The above is part of the coat of arms of the Spencer Family - note the Gar-Rune, the Spear of Woden. 

This is a larger version where the Gar-Rune Shield is topped by a White Dragon, to the left is a Golden-White Dragon-Eagle and to the right another White Dragon. The other symbolism are Three Sea-Shells. There are versions that leave out the White Dragon symbolism. The Dragon-Dragon-Eagle are chained by the neck to the base of the shield bearing the Spear of Woden - 'fettered', that is, to the Will of Woden. The symbolism of the 'Three Sea-Shells' is not clear as yet.

Lady Diana was killed in the car crash under the Pont d'Alma which was linked to the Merovingian Kings - the Wolsungas. The Wolsungas - Wulfingas - Heardingas play an important part in the Lore of Folkish Wodenism. The name Pont d'Alma means 'Bridge of the Soul' and a 'bridge', like that of Bifrost, is a link between two worlds. Let us now look at the Goddess Diana -

• Her 'Moon Goddess' aspect is alway shown paramount, which hides her link to the Morning Star - Venus. The Merovingians are said to have been 'Heathen Kings of the Cult of Diana', but since she is a Roman goddess this does not fit at all. She would have been of the Cult of Arduina (Ar-Duina) who is Idunn, Dana, Freya or Easter. 
• 'Diana the Huntress' was her title and she is the Wild Huntress like Frau Wode, Goda and Artemis the Huntress. 
• Her symbol is the Five-Petalled Rose of Venus - the White Rose of Albion (England). Diana was often depicted with a Stag and a Dove. 
• On her tombstone is a Flaming Torch; above the site of her death is a Flaming Torch on a Pentagram (The Five-Petalled Rose of Venus-Freya). This was erected in 1989.

There has been so much written of the 'Occult Conspiracy' behind her life and her death; the problem with conspiracies is that there are so many different versions, and where they start to lead somewhere something else takes the path away again. There is so much information - and so much disinformation  -that the truth cannot be seen clearly. This is why it is better just to ignore this and concentrate upon the symbolism of this; since much of this has been placed there after her death we can see the possibility that it was used to further an agenda. The Spencer family has not always been a vehicle for the best of individuals as their history shows (*); and how far back their 'aristocratic' pedigree goes I am not sure (since at least 300 - 400 years ago titles have been bought for cash). We have a light side and a dark side - as with everything. This is why I am not going to bring them down which would not be fair - we do not know the whole facts. It is the symbolism that is important to us here. But symbolism is often used unconsciously as I have shown in my latest posts. 

(*) I recall reading in an old set of books on the English Nation that a 'synchronicity' occurred concerning a 'Diana Spencer' who lived around the Seventeenth Century (if I recall right), which seems to suggest their own 'Archetypal Myth' being played out. I never really went further with this, and perhaps it does not matter in regard to what is said here.

The important symbolism here is -

1. The White Dragon of England.

2. The White Rose of England.

3. The White Rose as symbol of Freya-Idunn - the Goddess of Light and Love.

4. The Flaming Torch upon the Pentagram/Rose.

5. The White Dragon-White Dragon-Eagle and the Gar-Rune on the Spencer Arms. 

6. She was the 'Princess of Wales' which is of the Red Dragon; she married into the Red Dragon. Her husband, Prince Charles, was sworn in as the 'Prince of Wales' under the Red Dragon. 

7. She died in a place sacred to the Wolsungas who were said to be the Divine Race of Woden. This was the 'Bridge of the Soul' which suggests travelling to the Otherworld at this point.

8. The sing originally by Elton John saw her as 'England's Rose' mentions the 'Torch' that will be carried 'for our nation's Golden Child'. 

9. Her burial area is 'guarded' by Four Black Swans, whilst White Roses have been set around the area, and White Lilies in the lake. 

We must trust that somehow this will act in - Delivering a great people from ruin' as Nostradamus states in his Prophecies. 

The Tale of the White Eagle

I am going to tell you an ancient tale, one that is of the utmost importance to us today, one that is perhaps a warning, or maybe a prophecy. What it foretells is not inevitable but will happen if we do not do something to stop it. The ancient tale is adapted from the prophecies of the Seeress Sahaja speaking to King Nebuchadnezzar II. We are warned to defend against the 'First Flood', but if we fail we are 'all lost'! It is a message that is passed to us through the mists of time. The following has been changed an adapted..........

Are you sitting comfortable....Then I shall begin....

'Once upon a time a White Eagle circled over the sea beneath the Midnight Mountain of the North, noble and pure. He did harm to no-one, and neither anger, greed, nor envy were his ways. But there were other birds, of other species, less noble and less pure, without the Radiant Light of the White Eagle. These lesser birds envied the great White Eagle and conspired to stop him from landing so that he would die of exhaustion and starvation and then fall dead into the sea, so that no-one would ever know that there ever had been a noble White Eagle in the world.

The White Eagle kept circling for a long time, until distress forced him to fight against all the less noble birds, many of which he fought off and pushed down, remaining a winner in these fights for a long time. But then these lesser birds gathered more comrades and attacked the White Eagle again, after they had previously tried to starve him. There were terrible fights of the many against the one, until finally the White Eagle lay bleeding on the ground and could not fight back. But because he had not fallen into the sea to die, and could still be seen from his white plumage, they plucked all his feathers and then ate his raw flesh. Thus the White Eagle did not exist on the Earth any more. No-one would know that he had ever existed. 

Soon it was revealed that the White Eagle had been the source of the Light, of the Sunlight, and the father of the White Clouds in the sky. Henceforth there was no more Pure Light and only grey and dull, dark clouds which stopped the Rays of the Sun and devoured the heat of the Sun between Heaven and Earth. The Great Darkness was coming upon the Earth.

But the numerous non-noble birds that survived the long fight against the White Eagle, as it became colder and colder, and darker and darker upon the Earth, cried out that the White Eagle was guilty of bringing on the darkness, and for this they had murdered him. Thus they denied their own guilt and their lies deceived the world.

As time passed more Evil Demons from the Shadow-World came with the Darkness, for they feel at home in the dark. With these came the diseases of the spirit, and nothing was any longer understood in the world. These Evil Spirits know no suffering, no joy, neither fear nor any feeling whatever - they do not know, they do not care. These Dark Spirits brought further wickedness into the world, and many realised - too late - that the White Eagle had been the shield against the Dark Power. What had been the Light that protected from the Darkness had been slain by the envious birds, and now they all became victims, and they too perished at the hand of the Lord of Shadows - and life no more existed upon the Planet Earth....

'This I saw, this is a coming picture; and yet it is a warning - not inevitable fate. Defend, you people, for already is the First Flood! If you fail - the world is lost!'

The 'Flood' is symbolic of the 'Breath of Decay' that will spread through the world. 'The Second Flood will find its way to extinction.' This is not inevitable, but only if the alternative is taken up, and these mysteries are revealed in the latest Ar-Kan Rune-Lag posts.......................

Spirit of the Land

The area around the Uffington White Horse, Dragon Hill and Wayland's Smithy appears to show the Legend of Sigurd-Siegfried in the actual landscape of the area, as I have mentioned in a previous post. 

• The White Horse, which has also been seen as a Dragon-Serpent or a snake with legs as shown above. 
• Dragon Hill below the hill-figure, which emphasises this point.
• The landscape has channels which may represent those cut by Woden, that Sigurd could lie in wait for the Dragon. 
• Wayland's Smithy nearby where the White Horse is shoed by the Smith-God, and where the Broken Sword is re-forged.
• Alfred's Stone, a nearby stone which, when blown into, awakens the English King to aid the English Folk in the time of direst need. 

The name 'Uffington' means 'Ton of the Uffingas' who are the same as the 'Wuffingas' of East Anglia - the Sons of the Wolf. The nearby village of Woolstone is most likely a corruption of 'Wolf's Stone'.  The name 'Wayland's Smithy' is a late one tagged onto the place, but this does not negate the link between Wayland and the site. In late times these ancient legends were still understood by the few who thus ensured that they lived on into the future. This is the case with the Legend of Cuthman. 

It is noticeable that during the time when the smears and lies have been banded around about Woden's Folk the same old dogma that these sites are not 'Saxon' has come around again. But when the 'Druids' use them, basing their work on the 'Celtic', that is alright, even though most of these date back to the Bronze Age and before, well before the Celts are said to have moved here (**). These sites were used by our Teutonic Ancestors in ancient times, even if they were not called 'English' then. But they were the Sons of Ing who lived here when this was part of At-al-land. 

(*) This has been my argument with 'Englisc Nationalists' who still stick to the dogma that the English 'invaded' in 449CE and had no presence here before this. This is proving self-defeating in regard to the English Awakening, which is why this was not a lasting movement for change.

(**) It is clear that many of the people involved in such groups take no part in Ancestral Worship because they reject all links to their Ancestors when they deny their own race-identity. Most of them are probably ashamed of their roots and their links to ancient times. The Celts (Germano-Celts) who moved here were also in these islands long before. 

Ancient sites such as Wayland's Smithy, East Kennet Long Barrow, Newgrange etc. are to be found scattered all around England, Germany, Scandinavia and in many other areas of the world. Many of the oldest appear to have been built by the legendary 'White Gods' or 'White Giants' who travelled around the world bringing civilisation and culture after the Great Flood. The latter stages of Stonehenge were built by Frisians, or so we are told by the latest archaeological studies. The only difference between us and the 'White Giants' is that through the Cycle of the Ages we have devolved until we reached the Warg-Age/Kali Yuga when things started to degenerate rapidly, and then today time is speeding up towards the End-Times. The genes of the 'White Giants' are still found deep within, and the ancient Black Sun still shines within us and within the Earth, as well as the Cosmic Black Sun or Spiritual Sun. 

Through our rites the Spirit of the Land is being awakened, slowly but surely; the White Dragon is once more awakening through the Call of the Blood. The White Dragon pulses through the land, stirring the Runes of Power which were placed around our Sacred Land by Woden -

This is Albion, the 'White Island', and it is Albion, the 'Island of the Elves', where the Divine Ancestor of the English is arising again (Spring 1997 and the Hale-Bopp Comet, August 1999 and the Black Sun, and the finding of the Secret of the White Stone of Ing). Ingwe is the 'Lord of the Elves' - the Shining Ones - and it was he (as the Aryan Manu) who led the Tribes of Ingwe out of At-al-land when before the Flood of Noe. This is the Age of Ing which is the Age of Aquarius; in this age the Rays of the Black Sun are growing more and more powerful (this is perhaps the symbolism of the figure of Aquarius, pouring these 'rays' upon the Earth). As the power of the corrupted Golden Sun wane, and with it the powers that draw energy from this, the Rays of the Black Sun wax and grow stronger, coursing through the Blood of the Wera.

The Spirit of the Land shows itself in many strange ways, manifesting at times in unusual phenomena. I have mentioned the pre-Roman name of York, Eberacum, which is based upon eber which is High German for 'Boar'; the English (using Low German) called it Eforwic which means the same, 'Boar'. As Wotan's Krieger pointed out to me when we met up at the Folk-Moot, York is the centre of Yorkshire whose symbol is the White Boar, a symbol used at the Battle of Bosworth by Richard III. The White Boar is the symbol of Ingui-Frea - Lord of the Elves. 

Many years ago a group of Odinists gathered at Dragon's Hill to perform the Dragon-Ing Rite which was put together by BF, a Folk-Comrade from Leicester. This was the first time this rite was performed and it has been done many times since then. This was based upon the idea of the 'Seven Swords of Wayland', each sword representing a 'Tribe of Ing', brought together to form the Nation of Albion (England) represented by the Seventh Sword of Wayland (Albion). The Symbol of Albion was the White Rose of Albion (here shown on the figure of Irmin - the Saxon God). 

In this image Irmin holds the White Rose Flag, the Sword of Justice and Order, and the Scales of Justice. Irmin gave his name to the Saxon Irminsul which represents the World Tree. In Dorset this was associated with the Stag and the Snake, both associated with Herne the Hunter. We can see this in the Cerne Abbas Giant whose name is Celtic due to the Celtic Monks who set up a monastery in the area. The Saxons, according to legend, called the Herne Giant by the name Heil, which would not be a corruption of 'Helios' despite what some say. Heil was the name of the Saxon God associated with the Mannerbunde-God - Woden. 

Within this Spirit of the Land are figures representing the constellations and the stars; the Herne Giant is Orion the Hunter, a winter constellation represented by Woden as Wuldor - the Winter God. The Long Man of Wilmington is the constellation of Cygnus the Swan, and being in the East this is the Summer God, known as Waendal. We have Waendal in the East and Heil in the West. 

All of these sites, and many more, are sacred to Folkish Wodenists, and have been used for our rituals from time to time. West Kennet and Silbury Hill are also sacred sites, the latter being used by the Saxons (and no doubt the Belgae, who were most likely Woden-Born,  before that time) as a Thing-Stead. Avebury is one of the most famous sites which is used by pagans, Wiccans, Druids and tourists, as well as Folkish Heathens. The Serpent is an old symbolism linked to our Divine Ancestor, Ingwe, and his name stems from an Indo-European Root meaning 'serpent'. This, of course, is the Serpent of Knowledge and Wisdom, not the Serpent of Evil of the Counter-Initiation. 

Sacred Geometry on the landscape is very often discussed, but the idea that there are certain areas linked to our Ancient Teutonic Runes has not been looked at. In the above we have the Wolf-Hook Rune (Orion-Herne) and the Cweorth-Rune (Cygnus-Waendal). This is just two examples but not having studied this to any extent there are most likely many more. It does seem glowingly obvious that here we have an example of how the runes can be used to awaken the Cosmic Powers associated with an area - As Above - So Below. 

There is also a case here for seeing the 'additional' runes as being directly connected to these islands since we here clearly have two such runes associated with this land (*). That does not mean they were 'added' although this could be the case; but even so they existed here in this land before and could have 'come to light' (i.e. been recovered through the Blood-Memory of a Woden Adept or Master). The Wolf-Hook Rune can be found as an alternative to the Eoh-Rune but the Cweorth-Rune does not come into the Elder Futhark. That the figure of Herne the Hunter (Cerne Giant) is symbolised by the Wolf-Hook Rune is not surprising since Woden is the One-Eyed Wolf-God. 

(*) I am going to suggest that the Sigel-Rune could be equated to the area of the Uffington White Horse - Dragon Hill - Wayland's Smithy because of its relationship to Sig-urd and Sieg-fried, and also because the symbol itself is that of a Serpent. 

There is far too much emphasis upon the land where peoples live and have lived; we have to consider that in ancient times neither England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland ever existed as they do today, and the boundaries have changed considerably. No Lowland Scotsman would claim English descent even though they speak the clearest Old English and live in an area where the Angles dwelt. This is why we place more emphasis upon awakening the Teutonic Folk of these islands, all of whom are kin to the English. I have lived in North Wales where the Tegeingl dwelt in ancient times, and have felt a great bond to the area. Whilst there I performed many, many rituals at the Druids Circle and various ancient sites around the area. It was whilst living there that the Hooded Man Mysteries were first revealed to me in 1989, a Spirit-Light blazed in the window of the cottage I lived in the following year, and on the same day (January 1st 1991) the Ravens of Woden appeared in an Ash-Tree to both myself and my ex-wife, and slowly disappeared completely. This was on the Fairy Glen in Snowdonia. 

There has been a concerted attempt to stop the Ancient Power of the Land in areas such as Stonehenge, Avebury, Glastonbury etc. through making them into 'tourist attractions' and by their use by those who really have no spiritual link with the Gods, the Ancestors (who are buried here) or the Earth. This has been sapping the power of such sites, and Wayland's Smithy was one site that one could feel these powers awakening once more - and even manifesting as we have found out so many times. This has been threatened today through the drive to stop us using such sites, even though we are a recognised religion that worships our Gods and Ancestors, whilst those who have little affinity to their Gods and Ancestors will be encouraged to use the sites. No doubt there are many around the Stonehenge, Avebury and Glastonbury areas (all good o'le Anglo-Saxon names by the way) that are making quite a bit of money out of the 'tourists' and the 'festivals' and the flood of people to these sites throughout the summer months. And here we are doing this just for our love of Folk and Land!

Hale-Bopp & Bab-Chomet

This post was sparked by a piece that Hamasson found in a work called Armanen Runes and The Black Sun in Modern Heathenry by Aelfric Avery. This piece not only confirms what we have written about the Hale-Bopp Comet and the creation of Woden's Folk, but also gives new insights into the creation of the Folkish Wodenist Movement here in England. This led to my looking at a German website which gave further insights; there are so many synchronicities involved in this.

'The god Bab-Chomet placed in the new universe the Black Sun, which no-one can see with earthly eyes; it is the source of God's Power in this world; around them is all. Thus the world-age was determined.'

This piece is from Sumer during the reign of Sargon I (23rd-22nd Centuries BCE), and is related to Illu Ishtar. 

Bab-Chomet is said to be a 'stargate' or 'Gateway to the Gods' which is remarkable when we have equated this with Baphomet and to the Hale-Bopp Comet. The Hale-Bopp Comet appeared in the spring of 1997 when I undertook a form of Shamanic Initiation by the Long Man of Wilmington (Woden-Waendal) and the HelgiH Mysteries were given to me. At the time I equated the Hale-Bopp Comet with 'Baphomet' for no real reason whatever. 

The gist of what we have said before, helped by work from Wotan's Krieger, is that the Hale-Bopp Comet appeared at the time of 'Noe's Flood' some 4,000 years ago, and reappeared in its next cycle in the spring of 1997. The comet heralded the sinking of At-al-land, and then the creation of Woden's Folk in the spring of 1998. Now we can go even further with this because into the same equation comes the Black Sun. The solar eclipse of August 11th 1999 we linked to the 'Resurrection of Ingwe' through the Power of the Black Sun, and the conception of the New Age - the Age of Ing. And here in the above we have stated - 'Thus the world-age was determined'. 

There was also seen a link between the Third Sargon who is to appear with an 'Empire of the North' and the Bab-Chomet whose 'vibrations' are said to bring this about. Here we have Bab-Chomet behind the Power of the Black Sun, and the Source of God's Power in this world. It was thus the 'vibrations' of the Hale-Bopp Comet that brought into being the new world-age - the Age of Ing(we). 

'At the top of the world stands the Midnight Mountain;

Its light is eternal.

The eyes of man cannot see it - and yet it is there.

Over the Midnight Mountain streams the rays of the Black Sun.

The eyes of man cannot see them - and yet they are there.

Inside us burns its light.

Only the brave and righteous still have within them the God-Head.

Then comes the link between the Black Sun and the Midnight Mountain of the North. To gain further insight I looked up 'Bab-Chomet' and found a German site - www.freiheitistselbst....(apologies to our German Comrades but the word was rather long) on which was the following -

'The White Sun shining over the world Earth - you give light to the day.

The Black Sun shining inside of us - you give the power of knowledge. Reflecting on the realm of Atland, which lay high at the Pillar of Heaven before the sea devoured it.

Reflecting the wise giant, those who came and taught from Thule.'

Atland - We have here the link between the Black Sun and the sinking of At-al-land. As stated, the last cycle of the Hale-Bopp Comet 4,000 years ago seems to have heralded the coming cataclysm that finally sank At-al-land or 'Doggerland' in the North Sea. 

Legend has it that the Divine Light was sent from God to the Earth in the form of the Goddess Ishtar (Eastra-Ostara). It is also said that the seer Irini (another 'synchronicity' which I will not go into here) had spiritual contact with Ishtar. Some see Bab-Chomet as a 'doorway' or 'gateway' through which the Divine Light ('Ray of Light') comes. The Black Sun is known as Ilu Ilum - 'Ilu' being 'light' as in our equivalent 'El' giving the word 'Elf'. 

On the Stele Naram-Sin dedicated to the King of the Akkadians, grandson of Sargon I, we find two suns, one being the White Sun of Day and the other the Black Sun of the Midnight North. 

The two 'suns' are at the top of the stele; the larger and taller figure is Naram-Sin, and it must be noted that he wears a horned helmet very similar to those found on figures in Bronze Age Northern Europe.

The one puzzle that remains with us, something that I have said before, is that the Baphomet which is usually shown as a horned goat was the work of Eliphas Levi, a French Occultist. His image is clearly nothing like the original Baphomet of the Knight's Templar which was, we are told, a severed head. Comets are often referred to as 'Bearded Stars'. The obvious link is with John the Baptist but there is also the link with Mimir's Head and the 'Well of Memory'. Rather than linked to 'Mahomet' it seems that 'Bab-Chomet' is a more likely origins of this word. There may, of course, be no links whatever but even then there is a synchronicity in the two words that cannot be overlooked. The Knight's Templar are said to have gone to the Americas, taking with them the Holy Grail. 

Woden's Folk was formed on April 23rd 1998, one year after the appearance of the Hale-Bopp Comet. The mystical experience I had in the spring of 1997 ended on April Fool's Day (April 1st) when I looked up at the Long Man of Wilmington (Woden as the 'April Fool'). The area around the Long Man seems to be a kind of 'Time-Clock' set to awaken certain forces in our era of the Cycle of the Ages. As I have said before, there is even a comet-shaped long-barrow ('Hunter's Burgh') to the east of the hill-figure, and a White Horse to the west of the figure.

The Light of the Black Sun is led over the star Venus to the Earth. This fits with the ideas of Don Miguel Serrano. This is also the He/She or El-Ella of Miguel Serrano. It is the union of these two forces we speak of. 

ALU   AELLU  ELU   ILU   OLU  OELLU   ULU

Question that needs an answer - Is there any connection between ALU and these ideas here? ALU is said to be a 'Magical Force' and forms part of the above sequence. The Old English name AElla can also form part of this sevenfold sequence. 

On one blog I found a reference to the Black Sun being located in the middle of the constellation Crater from where the 'Divine Light' is led over the star Venus to Earth. The name 'crater' means 'cup' or 'chalice'. The Old English Calc-Rune means 'cup' or 'chalice' at one level.

The word Vril could be rendered Ur-Il meaning 'The Primal Light'; there is also a kind of synchronicity here since the ideas around Bab-Chomet related by the Seeress Sahaja which we have touched on before are associated with the god Marduk whose image is that of a bull - Bo-Vril. Before World War II a number of occultists were working around 'channeling' from areas such as Sumeria and Babylonia.
